“Nice Surprise.”

We generaly stay at all inclusive resorts but decided to try a smaller hotel in Playa Del Carmen. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We were met by friendly staff and were in our room within 5 minutes of arrival. The room was large and comfortable and exceptionaly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel was nicely situated just off the quieter end of 5th Ave. Lots of good eating places close by. The pasta at the restaraunt next door was excellent. Nice terrace to sun on in the hotel. This hotel offers all inclusive at a reasonal rate. Good if you want to stay around the hotel during the day. Beach was close by and you could walk for miles. No hassels from beach vendors. A grocery store a couple of blocks away was handy for stocking the fridge with drinks. Would return to this hotel again.

Area recommendations

Lots of action on 5th Ave but the vendors become a bit tiresome. Drop down one street and avoid them. The is a little restaraunt on 26th that is cheap and the food is great. Also try the Dirty Martini bar on 1st Ave

When to go

We went last week of November, weather was great but the big crowds had not yet arrived so it was easy to get into the bars and restaraunts and the beach was not crowded. The jazz festival was on while we were there. An unexpected surprise, great music.

“Decent Hotel/Friendly Staff”

I really liked the courteousness of the staff at Aventura Mexicana. Good location, walking distance to many beaches and 1 block from the pedestrian 5th Avenue. I was disappointed there was no hot tub and it would have been nice to have a door separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. Overall, it was a nice hotel if what you're looking for is a clean place to rest at the end of the day and not many fancy amenities.

“Great value for what you pay”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of september and we enjoyed every bit of our stay - the room was perfect, the pool is perfect for chilling and having drinks - the bar of the hotel is very friendly, and the LOCATION is amazing - it is close to everything but not noisy at all. The rooms are very clean with fresh towels everyday, the bed is very nice. We were very happy with the place.

“Wonderful experience!”

This Hotel was very pleasant, quiet, and close to everything.All of the people who work ther deserve a nod. I have not even had people as pleasant at a 5 star resort! We are already planning a trip back next year. If you are looking for a nice boutique hotel than this is for you. If you prefer something w/ more action then this would not be it...

“Looking forward to staying there again”

Have stayed at different hotels mostly south on 5 Av or older area. This Hotel was just right, price type of room everything. Youd need a month of Sundays to try every restauarnt in the area. Usuall pushy salesmen on the 5 Av but thtas not the Hotels fault.
