A fantastic time, great place, food and culture. Only obstacle was figuring out the water bus on upon arrival as didn't know where to get off near the hotel. If we were informed or guided before we wouldn't have stressed. Can't wait to go back in a few years and would book the same hotel without a doubt.
As a single traveler, this was a perfect hotel. I felt safe and the staff spoke to me in English as my Italian is extremely limited. They were so informative. Be sure and reserve a room with a lagoon view in the main hotel. I skipped breakfast so I can't comment on that.
Every step we were pampered. The room was perfectly cleaned, robes, slippers, heated towel rack, deep tub, and most important, a really comfortable bed! The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! All the basics but also smoked salmon, fresh flaky rolls and croissants. And the location, right on the canal about 5 minutes from St Marks square, is ideal.
We arrived in the lunch time. Our room was not prepared as we arrived earlier. They welcomed us warmly and arranged everything on time. We were looking for a room with a view. But we were compensated with larger room. Breakfast was great and the staff were really cooperative and informative. We will definitely stay there next time.
This hotel was the first stop of my honeymoon with my wife, and we had a great experience. The rooms are beautiful inside and the views of the Grand Canal are great. The location is also very convenient and relatively close to the public (water) transit and to St. Mark's Square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The room was essentially an older style European hotel room, The staff was courteous and helpful, especially with an email connection problem. The complementary breakfast was totally adequate, and the room was clean, with a heating and ventilation system that worked well. Adequate hot water for showering, and the bed was comfortable. My room had a fully functioning window as well. I was there from November 4th to 6th and we experienced; very high tides, high winds and rains which were (at times heavy). The little Venetian alley providing direct access from the Water Bus docks flooded, which required a circuitous route on Venice "duck boards" to get back to the Hotel. This just added to the adventure, but did make things a tad inconvenient for luggage, but was in no way a fault of the Hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to book in again.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a quadruple bedroom overlooking the lagoon. The views were amazing, the rooms were clean and the restaurant was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.
