“Family oriented hotel”
Half block to beach. Very good breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits.Nice bath rooms. Rooms vary in size from small to medium. 10 minute walk to Ipanema. Many restaurants in stores within 5 minute walk.
“Good choice hotel”
Good location, good hotel condition (kind of new), clean, nice staff, excellent breakfast buffet (included in the room rate). Free wi-fi in the lobby/estaurant. Free wired internet in the room(get a router with you and make it wireless if you need). Pool on the roof (very small though and mostly in the shade). Money exchange office just next door, but hotel reception would also exchange money for aproximately the same rate. Except for beiing a bit pricey, there's really nothing bad to bring up about this hotel. Book it and you will not regret! Enjoy!
“We will return!!!”
I was a little concern when I was reading the reviews of the hotel--the only negative thing I saw was that the rooms were small. Well....yes it's true, the rooms are small, but that is not why we went to Rio. The location is perfect, the hotel personnel very friendly and spoke English. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Great Value for Money in Rio!”
- Helpful, friendly staff that speak english - Decent sized, clean & comfortable rooms - Amazing buffet breakfast! (that included in your room rates) We stayed in another hotel in Copacabana for one night before transferring to the Montinique which was similarly priced (if not slightly more expensive) and it didn't even come close to comparing to the level of service, cleanliness and overall experiance we got from the Montinique. If you want a proper hotel in over priced Rio you can't go wrong with staying here. Definately recommedend!
“Highly recommended”
Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast.
“If not for the beds, it would be very good”
Location is excellent, close to Ipanema, Copacabana and Leblon. The hotel is good, breakfast very healthy, reception ok, the room is relatively silent. But the beds are very old and the mattress nealry reaches the floor when lying down. Very unconfortable. The Windsor chain should have higher standards not allowing this to happen. Please renew your beds.
“Great Location”
Great Location, a block from the Copacabana beach, and next to Ipanema. We walked everywhere and used the metro which is only a few blocks from the hotel. The hotel is simple but clean and the people at the reception (especially those working on day shift) were very helpful. On the negative side: not a great view from our window and the lobby is very small. Overall, though, we were very satisfied.
“windsor martinique hotel”
nice hotel near the beach, awesome breakfast and friendly reception what i didn't like was room was too small and no view , bathroom was nice but in general it's a good hotel, i will stay in there again with no problem
“Family/couple style”
This place is geared towards couples or families. The hotel is clean and conveniently located, and the staff were excellent, however the restaurant was very small and no one was ever in there. The free breakfast was fantastic and always packed with people, however. The rooms were small and our room had a view of a brick wall, but I guess for the price in Rio that's all you can expect.
“Pleasant Stay in Copacabana”
Front desk people were kind and spoke English. They were helpful and friendly, especially Felipe and Lucas. Flavio in the breakfast buffet was very helpful, allowed me to grab some food when I overslept and arrived late. I am grateful.
