“Very Impressed - Wish I could have stayed longer`”

We found the staff very friendly and useful, and the location was perfect for access to Copacabana beach and the surrounding restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend a few days enjoying what Rio has got to offer whilst on vacation.

“Great Copacabana Hotel”

Reasonable priced. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast--typical of Rio. Since it faces Copacabana Beach, I was able to go out in the morning and night to jog and go to the beach. The Internet gave me monumental frustration in my hotel room. It took me awhile to figure out, but finally, I realized I could have continual Internet connectoin in the lobby. So, I did my Skype from the Lobby. Skype is not usable in the hotel room. If you're OK with that like I am, then this is the perfect spot for you.

I'm just here for business. So, I recommend this area because of its proximity to the centro where I have my meetings, and not too far away.

“Average Hotel”

This hotel is pretty expensive for the value that you get. The rooms are very basic, the hotel feels old, and teh staff is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional....everything except customer service is their priority, especially at the front desk. Also, the majority of the guests are buisness people so it is a pretty boring ambiance. Of course the location is great right infront of Copacabana, but for the high price I feel that there must be many better options out there....keep looking!

I heard after my visit that staying in Ipanema is the best option in Rio...less traffic and better beach!

“Love Rio!”

Tulip Inn Copacabana is a great place for travelers on a tighter budget. It is in a great location right across from Copacabana beach and has beautiful reception area, restaurant and bar. The rooms are a little dated but are comfotable enoug.

“Can't wait to go back !!!”

I have been in NYC, LA, Ohio, London, Paris hotels in 2010 and this has been Simply a fantastic experience for me and my fiancé Edna. She especially loved the choice of healthy breakfast !! We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, Copacabana beach and the surroundings just before newyears 2011. Can't wait to go back to the same location next year...

Copacabana is a great place to enjoy the surroundings and relax on the beach. It's very accessible to most transport to get to the tourist destinations.

“Very nice”

Premium location of the hotel, professional and friendly service, beautifully designed lobby, restaurant and good breakfast buffet compensate for the room standard (room was clean but looked like it was remodeled only half way). I would recomment the place 100%!

Walk everywhere! Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Botafogo, Downtown, even favelas! The city isn't as dangerous as rumor says! Brazilians are the nicest and most friendly people! The city of Rio de janeiro is also very clean!

“If you're on a budget and won't be spending much time in your room”

The lobby is nicer and more promising than the rooms, which have seen better days, and in my case could have seen better housekeeping. R$15 for internet, and logging in is a hassle. The staff was hit-and-miss on helpfulness and showed signs of being demoralized. But the location is great, and rates for the neighborhood are reasonable, so if you're not planning to spend much time in the room it's an economical option. You can go down the street and use Muscle Beach, the outdoor workout facility on the beach, by showing ID and filling out a questionnaire.
