“Good hotel one block from Leblon beach”
The hotel was clean in a very good area, lots of shops and restaurants, very close to the more famous Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. IPod docking station in the room was very helpful, and a large flat screen TV if you crazy enough to go to Rio and stay in your room.
“Decent price at a great location in Rio”
Decent 3* hotel in the prime location of Rio. Very clean, decent room and good breakfast. Unlike the usually rundown and overpriced hotels of Rio this hotel gives an ok offer price value wise. On the downside the pool was a bit grimy and gym of another age (one of the treadmills was missing a foot!).
“Excellent but a bit far from Copacabana”
The hotel was great, and lots of good restaurants in the area. The beach was great also, but if one wanted to do things in Copacabana or downtown it was slightly far.
“Quiet Street in One of Rio's Nicest Neighborhoods.”
The hotel is one of the few hotels that are located in Leblon, which is the wealthiest of Rio's three south beach neighborhoods (the other two being Ipanema & Copacabana). It's short walking distance from many of Leblon's trendy bars and restaurants, which are frequented by Rio's professional and trendy residents. And it's less than two blocks from the beach. The hotel itself is on the smaller side - almost a boutique. This also goes for the rooms (the walls aren't that soundproof either). So you may not get some of the amenities you'd find in larger hotels, such as a concierge. However, it does have a small gym and pool. The service is good and the staff speaks English.
“Good Hotel for Business Travelers.....only”
This hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly, but for those seeking the ambience and surroundings of a vacation spot, the Promenade Palladium would not measure up. Although a pool is available, it is somewhat hidden and I never once saw a person in it. The hotel is located in the middle of a commercial block, containing both apartment buildings and businesses, and is accessed directly from the street. A number of problems existed: a blocked toilet, no English by any other than the desk staff, insufficient and overworked desk staff, little access to English TV, a terribly loud A/C motor, long waits at the front desk, etc., etc. Breakfast was adequate but not spectacular. Overall, I was not impressed.
“Ottimo hotel”
Ottimo hotel a due passi dalla spiaggia di leblon,5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di ipanema e ubicato nel quartiere piu' elegante di rio.Soluzione eccellente per chi non vuole stare nel caos di copacabana.
