“Will Return to Marina Palace”

We had a lovely expericence at Marina Palace. The rooms were a little dated but very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to Marina Palace.

Spacious, comfortable room in a safe and upmarket part of Rio - right on Leblon beach. No real complaints at all - pleasant helpful staff right from the gift shop girl through to the chauffeur car drivers outside... May be the front desk staff have less time for each individual guest since they are kept busy, but this is no big deal...

Next time I am in Rio, I wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay. Leblon is the nicest region of Rio, and the Marina Palace Hotel is a wonderful hotel, right on the beach, facilitating a great experience!

Hotel is very well located, the staff is incredibly kind, all of them speak English, Portuguese and Spanish. They have service for their guests on the beach (towels and chairs). I really did not like the included breakfast so I did not taste any meal of their restaurant. If you're thinking about going to Rio, don't think anymore... you'll never regret it.

You are staying in one of the nicest parts of Rio; Leblon. You can walk to Ipanema too. Both are very safe. The staff at the Marina Palace is so outstanding. They will make every effort to help you out. They really made the trip for me. You can ask them anything, I mean anything. This place has the best water pressure of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The cable is even good there. You are within walking distance to restaurants, bars, malls, and on the beach. The hotel bar/restaurant is very cool. The sushi comes out on a blue surfboard. The bottom line is that I would not stay anywhere else.

This hotel is situated on Leblon beach. Get a room with a beach view even if you have to pay a bit more because the views are spectacular. The staff are all very friendly and extremely accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed linen is first class. The hotel is situated in the best district in Rio. It is safe to walk around the area, even at night, and Leblon is full of chic bars and restaurants, shopping centers, stores. Absolutely the best place to stay in Rio. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Marina in Leblon - value and luxury - great breakfast.”

I go to Rio on business 2-3 times per year, and stay at luxury hotels, company paid. This time I went on my own with my son, and we found a gem! The Marina Hotel has one of the best locations in Rio. Across the street from a clean, beautiful beach (hotel sets up your chairs and umbrella) and centrally located for easy access to all the attractions and shopping. Well worth the money in a city known for high tariffs! But do get it through Expedia - even locally it's more expensive to book (I checked)!

“Great place to stay”

Everything about the Marina Palace was excellent. I arrived about 10am and was allowed to check-in early. The room I was assigned had an amazing view of the beach and the entire Leblon/Ipanema area. It was clean and comfortable. Everything worked properly. The staff members I dealt with during my stay were friendly and spoke at least a little English. The bar on the roof of the hotel offered a great view of the area at night. There was plenty to do within walking distance- malls, movie theater, and of course the beach. When I had to check out, at 5:30 in the morning to make my flight, the staff was again very friendly. They offered the hotels private car to take me to the airport.(It was cheaper than the cab ride to the hotel). Overall, I was satisfied with everything about it. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

This hotel is my favourite in Rio. Location and friendly staff. Right on the Leblon beach, far from the crazyness of Copa and lower parts of Ipanema

“Great Stay in Rio”

Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Great breakfast and peaceful location. Bus and metro make for easy transport. The roof pool and bar were amazing and the view priceless. Would certainly stay here again.
