“Acceptable quality level considering the location, breakfast and ammenities”

This hotel is not a brand new construction but the staff keeps it reasonably well. The cleanliness is acceptable but not a cristal white perfectness as a critical client would expect. The hotel is quite tall, with a nice swimming pool on the penthouse surrounded by a bar and chairs. There's a fitness gym that works but the sauna was out of service being fixed, unfortunately. I'd say there are other better options than this hotel in Rio, for the same ticket price, with newer (or cleaner) construction and other addons, however I consider most the quality of service and in this case I'd say this hotel is better than many other fashioned competitors in the region (I experienced bad education in many newer hotels and for me that's a critical item to evaluate). I would be back to this hotel again, if Rio is full with few availability.

“No frills, ok for budget traveler”

Rio is very expensive city, do not expect 4 star quality here. Positive sides: good breakfast buffet, nice views from the roof deck.

“Good times at Leme”

The Location is good for the beach life, and to get to buses (also metro bus) to get around town and you can always find taxi driver outside and every driver knows where the hotel is so it was easy to get home. For nightlife and dinners you have to take Taxi or long walk. We stayed high up and surspisingly there where lots of small ants in the room, maybe it's normal for Rio but I was very surprised to see and live with them

“Rio... the bad and ugly”

Rio is very expensive. The currency exchanger is a ripoff. Credit cards can be used but not debit cards. Take lotsa of extra funds. Bank fraud and scams are the norm. The bay had four or more oil freighters in view always. Street vendors are everywhere and a pain to get rid of. Will not be back anytime soon.

“Not the best hotel but OK to stay”

Location of the hotel is good. It is near the Capacapana beach and is very closed to bus station and you can go to anywhere by bus. The smell of the hotel corridors are horrable but we are lucky that the room was not smellling like the corriodors. The bathroom was small but working properly and clean enough. I can not say that it was a very good hotel but I can say that it is ok to stay and it has clean beds and good hot water. Since they asked me if it was our first time in the hotel and I met many pilots and airline hostesses in the breakfast, I can say that there are many people regularly using this hotel, so they must keep their service standart.

The hotel cleanless is not as I expected but as a beach hotel could be stayed. the price does not match with the hotel.

“Good Service”

The hotel is one block from the Copa beach on the north side. It is a residentaial area and there are local pubs and bars nearby, as Brazilians love soccer, they get rowdy on Sundays but nothing to worry about, it is safe.
