“Great hotel, wonderful staff!”

Great hotel, this one! It's a 15/20 minute lazy walk to the main Rimini strip but only 20 seconds to the nearest great beach. And there are bus links anyway. What sets this hotel apart are the fantastic staff - every single one is helpful, cheery and will go out of their way to help you. Absolutely loved them, particularly Barbara who was our favourite! Rest of the hotel is superb, good breakfasts, clean and lovely rooms, nicely kept public areas, friendly cleaners, free and easy wifi and PC/web access. Couldn't recommend it more. Pretty much everyone speaks good English too. Would definitely use again if in Rimini, and recommend to friends.

Area recommendations
Although Rimini seems to be mostly about the beaches, the 'old town' is not to be missed. Very lovely streets and cafe bars abound. Wonderful to soak in the atmosphere after a day soaking up the sun.
Getting around
Most of Rimini is walkable, albeit not hugely pedestrian friendly sometimes. The buses are good as well. Number 9 heads to and from the airport. Make sure once you buy a bus ticket to validate on the bus.
Must see
Get out to San Marino! It's an hour's coach journey from Rimini train station and is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon in... a different country! Two countries in one trip. Value for money, right?

“excellent hotel 30 seconds from the beach and 30 min from downtown”

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which is located very conveniently just a 30 sec walk from the beach and half an hour walk from the historical downtown district. The hotel is very clean, provides good breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I put only 4 stars in the "comfort" category, since the rooms may seem rather Spartan for a US traveler, but that's typical for a small European hotel I guess. The hotel is also family-friendly, which was another big surprise: before the trip several people told me that Rimini was Italy's Ibiza, so I expected to see a very noisy place, but it probably helped a lot that my travel was in mid-September, when all teens are in school, so the entire place - not just the hotel - was quite and peaceful). Overall, a great place that I would recommend to anyone. I am seriously considering repeating this trip (with a family) some time in Spring or perhaps next year.

Area recommendations
although Rimini may pale in comparison with other Italian historical attractions, I would certainly recommend spending at least a day in historical down town (I spent several hours in the downtown district every day during my 4-day stay in Rimini, and I loved it). A walk from the Bridge of Tiberio to the Augustus Ark will take you through a very nice and scenic downtown that features a few remains of the Roman era and a lot to see from later ages. There are some other attractions, including remains of the citadel of the medieval ruler of Rimini. If spending the rest of time on the beach does not seem very attractive, you can travel to Bologna by train (departures evry other hour or so from the centrally located station just a 20 min walk away from the hotel) or to Rome from the airport (an hour-long flight early in the morning; cab to the airport is 25 euros from the hotel)

“The best hotel we stayed at in Italy”

Everything about this hotel is top quality. It has a large car park and is located at the very southern end of a very long bulavard of other hotels and is consequently very quiet as a result. It lies within 50 metres or so of the beach. The complimentary content (soft drinks only)of the room mini-bar was refreshing and useful. The breakfast was very filling and tasty. The hotel was completely and utterly spotless and the rooms clean and comfortable. We will aim to go back some day for sure!!

Traveller's tip
The hotel didn't have parasols or beds for hire and when we enquired with another hotel's suppliers on the beach they seemed to be very expensive. Be prepared to go without or bring your own if you are touring by car.

“Great hotel”

One of the best hotels we have been to.The staff were so friendly. We had a free non alcoholic minibar in our room. The food was excellent with free water and wine each evening. The only downside was that occasionally it was noisy from music from other hotels, late at night.

“Rimini's hidden gem”

We stayed at Hotel Accademia for three nights with our dog and it was one of the best stays that we have ever had in Europe. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the small touches of the hotel really made the trip. There was free parking for the hotel, free internet service, free apples for your picking, and the walk to the beach took less than 2 minutes. We cannot wait to go back!!! See you soon Hotel Accademia!!

“hotel accademia rimini”

eccezionale rapporto qualita` prezzo incontrato ,gentilissimo il personale sempre disponibile ed educato.dovevo fermarmi due giorni a rimini e due a bologna ma ho deciso di prolungare la mia permanenza nella struttura per i 4 giorni .ancora un esempio della grande professionalita` e cortesia degli operatori turistici romagnoli

rimini pur essendo una delle poche citta` a poter vantare due periodi storici molto importanti ,con grandi testimonianze dell'epoca romana e medievale ,viene purtoppo ricordata solo per la sua zona balneare .consiglio sempre di visitare il bellissimo centro storico e l'entroterra dove oltre alla bellezza dei luoghie delle citta`, non sara` complicato incontrare ottimi ristoranti dove gustare succulente fiorentine e meravigliosi primi con pasta fatta in casa,sempre con un ottimo rapporto qualita` prezzo

“simpatia e cortesia”

un ottimo fine settimana in un ottimo albergo. pulizia,gentilezza,stanze non molto grandi ma accoglienti,buona colazione. lo consiglio sicuramente.

l'area di rivabella è adatta a chi vuole essere a rimini ma fuori dal caos (5 minuti dal centro),vicinissima alla statale 16 (per ravenna ad esempio),alla strada per san marino e all'autostrada.

“Das Hotel Accademia liegt nur 50 m vom Strand entfernt.”

Ein tolles Hotel. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, man sich sehr gut auf Englisch verständigen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Auch das Frühstück war super; mit allem, was dazu gehört. Das Hotel liegt nur ca. 50 m vom Strand entfernt und mit dem Bus ist man in zehn min in der Stadt selbst. Insgesamt ist das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Die Pizzeria "La Posada" ist sehr zu empfehlen u liegt ganz in der Nähe des Hotels- ca. 5-10 min Fußweg

“Perfetto”

Non c'è molto a dire in verità. L'esperienza è stata perfetta. Il personale gentilissimo, l'albergo piccolo ma estremamente ospitale, la camera pulitissima con tanto di connessione internet gratuita e "menù" dei cuscini da poter richiedere. Colazione ottima e con un buffet molto vario (nonostante fossi sceso abbastanza tardi). Ci tornerei di sicuro e lo consiglio vivamente.
