“Good location”

About 5 minutes walk from the major sites, this is a quiet, comfy hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated but lack a few mod cons (in-room safes, a bigger range of TV channels, etc). The breakfast buffet is very good, as is the hotel restuarant and adjoining tea room. The reception service is fine. Some of the rooms are a bit on the small side, without great views.

“Nice hotel in the center of Riga”

Garden Palace is a small nice hotel in the center of Riga. Everything was good, they even offered me a welcome drink - glass of wine or beer. Room was small, but the bed was comfy. For the price I paid it was a real bargain! Breakfast was very good: vast choice of meals, hot and cold. Bad thing was they ran out of coffee and hot water very quickly. Good thing was they offered a real espresso or cappucino instead! :)

“Great place to stay in the old part of Riga. Blackheads House is just opposite!”

We really liked this hotel, excellent food, courteous staff. Noise on some nights though from a nearby bar / nightclub which was annoying and disruptive. Inappropriate music at breakfast - too loud; but they turned it off when we asked them to ! The advantages outweighed that disadvantage. Good value for money and though our deal was b&b, if you eat lunch or dinner at the hotel you get 20% discount off the food.

“Het Garden Palace Hotel in Riga”

Heerlijk verblijf gehad.Qua ligging denk ik het meest gunstige hotel van Riga! Super! Voor het hotel is: een pinautomaat, de bus naar het vliegveld, de start van de hop on hop of tour een coffecorner en om de hoek ligt de winkelstraat al. Hotel heeft wat smalle bedden als je kiest voor de lits jumeaux. Verder een prima ontbijt en goede service in het hotel. het gratis internet is ook handig als je iets wilt opzoeken. Echt een aanrader dit hotel!

“Meget praktisk. Gangavstand til alt.”

Meget imøtekommende betjening. Variert frokostbuffet. Lite trafikkstøy og en skjermet patio der det sikkert er trivelig å sitte om sommeren. Blant mange TV-kanaler finnes også NRK1.

“Bra bas för en weekend i Riga!”

Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Kanonfrukost! Lugnt läge även om det ligger centralt.

Area recommendations
Matmarknaderna i de gamla flyghangarerna. Utbudet, människorna och atmosfären känns genuint Gamla staden - gå en guidad tur, utgår från turistinformationen, väl värd varje lat och minuter - så mycket historia att ta in!

“Das Garden Palace liegt am Rande der Altstadt, ist gut und günstig”

Schönes altes Hotel, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber, gutes Frühstück, Rezeption sehr freundlich, je nach Person auch wenig interessiert, aber insgesamt okay. Sehr gute Lage am Rande der Altstadt, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Restaurant und Bar nicht ausprobiert. Auch vom Flughafen gut per Bus erreichbar.
