“Life in Riga, Latvia.”
Highly recomend a visit to latvia and especially to Riga which we found much nicer then Tallinn. A rather expensive city in the old section but prices drop considerably outside the old part, especially in restaurants. Hotel price for what you get (2.5 stars equivalrnt in US) quite overpriced. Big loss in Riga is absence of BBC or some English speaking TV so you can get news. Tallinn had BBC at hotel which was wonderful. Hotel in Tallinn more impersonal and much larger but at a much better price.

My second trip to Riga. Stayed in one of the suites and found it very cosy and perfect for the trip. Staff were pleasant and it was in a great location. Highly recommended.
“Great city - great choice of hotel”
This is a great place right in heart of Riga's Old Town. The staff were extremely helpful and the service was first class - especially at breakfast and in the hotel bar. Even the cheapest rooms (as opposed to suites) are very comfortable and have good facilities. Best of all, with just 22 rooms the service was personal and friendly. Some other reviewers have complained about the noise from a nightclub, but apart from a few moments one night I didn't hear anything.

“i'll not back here”
Not the worst Hotel i stayed in Riga ( i visit the Latvia's capital about 30 times) but the standard rooms are not showed on expedia's photos ,very anonimous with old Tv and noising.There is not Insonorization t.The location is perfect in old town near Museums and nice Churchs.

“Albergo bello e confortevole, vicino al centro”
L'albergo dall'atmosfera molto calda ed accogliente è situato a pochi minuti dal centro e dalle zone più caratteristiche di Riga. Il personale è molto accogliente. Le camere sono confortevoli e molto pulite.
“Hübsches Hotel, nachts sehr laut, Personal unfreundlich”
Dieses Hotel ist an sich sehr schön, sauber und gepflegt, die Einrichtung interessant. Leider sind die Angestellten mit wenigen Außnahmen unfreundlich und kühl. Man fühlt sich dort nicht willkommen. Das Frühstück ist eher kärglich zu nennen. Das größere Problem ist aber ein anderes: Direkt gegenüber liegt einer der bekanntesten Clubs Rigas: Pulkvedim neviens neraksta. Täglich außer sonntags bis fünf Uhr morgens geöffnet. Für lärmempfindliche Menschen ist dieses Hotel also leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Nice place, well situated. Rooms ok but interior bit old. Employees could be more friendly. Breakfast poor for a buffetbreakfast
