“A wonderful stay!”

I highly recommend this hotel. It is beautiful and very comfortable. I received excellent customer service as well. The staff were very polite and accommodating. When I first arrived, I was given a room next door to a rather noisy child. I mentioned this to the front desk and she immediately apologized and offered to give me a new room (which I gladly accepted). I especially liked having an in room safe to store my laptop in during the day. Shopping and plenty of restaurants conveniently located directly across the street which the hotel will gladly drive you to (with a smile!) If I am ever in Richmond again, I will stay at this hotel!

“Great room and service, very poor food.”

Room very comfortable and clean though somewhat run down and in need of repairs. Restaurant was a disappointment. How can you burn steamed vegetables and not notice when they are plated and served?

“Enjoyable stay”

We stayed at this hotel during the state volleyball tournament at VCU Seigel Center. It was only a short drive to get there and the hotel had lots of shopping and eating choices nearby. My daughter went for a swim and enjoyed it. The water was warm and appeared clean. The breakfast in the morning was good Continental was free could be upgraded to full for 6 dollars. Kids under 12 get full breakfast free. Would definitely go back again.

“One Caution”

Our stay coincided with a girls’ soccer tournament. Several of the participants were staying in the hotel and had yet to learn how to behave in public. Some were loud in the hallways, running up and down the hall, making excessive noise late in the evening in the indoor pool (located in the large atrium upon which many rooms look out), and attending breakfast barefooted. In the future, I would check to see if there is a school group spending the weekend also before booking.

“comfortable and clean”

I enjoyed my stay at hotel. Room was clean and safe. Room Service was quick and friendly. Staff was friendly and available.

“will stay here next time.”

This hotel was obviously old. Which isn't a problem, but the room doors and pool area gave it away. The service was great. Comp. Breakfast was great. The oatmeal was really good on our cold mornings, and came with a variety of optional add ons.(cranberries, brown sugar, almonds, raisins, etc.) The pool was dirty and stained. I wouldn't of got in it. The rooms were very comfy and spacious and clean. Loved the complimentary internet which was so easy to connect to, and free parking. Beware of a 50 dollar per night deposit they throw at you when you check in. We were not aware of it. It was returned within 72 hrs after check out but still an inconvenience when traveling on a budget.

“Clean and close to airport”

This hotel is a great choice when you need to stay over a night to catch a plane the early next morning. The beds and pillows are great and the airport shuttle is very handy. They are a bit more costly than others...but the beds make it worth it.

“Very close to everything”

Great find. Close enough to downtown Richmond, but a fraction of the price. Decent rooms, clean and surrounded by restaurants.

“NAC 2011”

Attending the North American Cup in Richmond this year we chose to stay a bit away from the middle of town to gain a little space. The ride to the convention center was quick and easy and the neighborhood supplied everything from groceries to restaurants within walking distance or very short drive. Wyndham provided comfort and service that I expect from higher priced hotels at a much lower, reasonable price. The breakfast was very good and the service fantastic! I've not ever had such a nice, respectful service from a complimentary breakfast hotel...You should also check out Nancy's Margaritas' at the bar, they're wonderful!
