I'll note that I stayed while the hotel was clearly under renovation, so hopefully many of the issues will be addressed once renovation is complete. However, during our stay the hallways smelled very bad and the stairways were filled with random junk. That said, the biggest issue by far was the noise. The room next to us was loud and the walls apparently did nothing to stop the noise. It sounded like the neighbors were standing right next to us.
The breakfast was below average, but not terrible. The staff at the front desk in the evening appeared overwhelmed (several other guests had come up to describe various problems in their room), but she stayed level headed and friendly throughout.

This hotel is under renovation. Some parts of the building are new and nice, while others are under construction. It’s a bit understaffed. Our room was very nice. Breakfast was okay. They gave us eclipse watchers a little gift bag with eclipse glasses, which was very nice.

Ongoing renovations create a messy environment, but I get that they have to stay open while the work is getting done. Otherwise, a good stay. Staff was great; friendly, professional, and accommodating. Breakfast was just okay, but I think this was also a casualty of the renovations. Bottom line, I'd stay here again.

Should mention remodels it was just a bad experience very tacky not happy at all with experience. Staff was slow and unhelpful.

It was under construction, like major construction to where we thought they were closed when we drove up. The elevator didn’t work, so we had to carry a stroller, and three kids and tons of luggage up the stairs. I would have understood the construction, but there was no warning of this before we booked. And the price of the booking didn’t reflect the poor condition it was in. No discount offered.

I Didnt realize hotel was near a busy train track…! Definitely heard it a couple times during the night.
First room we were checked into had a broken fridge & was a little moldy. So they moved us to another room, and the sofa bed in that room had stained sheets, crumbs, and dead ants in it?!
Once we got clean sheets it was an ok stay. The sofa bed mattress was covered in plastic so every time my brother moved we could hear it. Basic breakfast, nice staff.
I stayed here once last year and didn’t have these issues. So I’m chalking it up to their current renovation work.

We used to best western for a single night following a football game before returning home. Location was convenient for our trip, the building was under construction, but clean, the room was attractive and spacious, and the amenities were very nice. Finally, the complementary buffet breakfast was very nice as was the very reasonable room rate.

Remodeling since Feb 2023? Definitely not on the first floor. If the owner does not replace the carpets soon, they need to properly clean them because they are filthy. The room (first floor) smelled moldy, musty, and like urine. Found a dirty sock under the bed. The shower and faucet’s water pressure is way too low, possibly to save money. The two Indian ladies at the front desk were pleasant. Please clean the facility.

This hotel in Richland, IN was being renovated so hard to judge it fairly. It was fine for us for on an overnight stay on our trip to Ohio. It was easy to get to right off Hwy 70! The breakfast area was clean & food was good.

The room I had was big. They are remodeling but I didn’t have any issues with that. Room didn’t have a hair dryer and only a shower. A lot of water from shower went out on bathroom floor … curtain was short. Overall not a bad place to stay

I stayed on a return trip from Wisconsin. The hotel is under renovation but room was clean

The staff was extraordinary. Excellent customer service and the best breakfast out of all the local hotels. The outside is being renovated. The staff responds quickly to any issue. Will return to this BW!
