“Fit for purpose - handy for trains”

This hotel is in a convenient location for both regional trains and the Metro. ~300m walk to Parrache station where it's 5 stops to the centre of town. Many regional trains leave from Part Dieu Station rather than Parrache, so be careful! The area itself isn't great and you'll really need to head into town for entertainment. The hotel itself was fine - exactly what we expected based on the information provided. Rooms are small, but the bathroom in ours was recently renovated. Free WiFi is always handy. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful and tolerant of our poor attempted French. Overall good value and I would stay there again.

Area recommendations
Parrache is good for short stays when you're travelling by train and not afraid to use public transport. Head further north to the old town (Vieux Lyon) to be in the thick of it.
Dining
Steer clear of the larger 'fine dining' restaurants and head straight for the smaller 'bouchons' for a real Lyon experience. We ended up heading out for drinks and dinner with the owner/chef of one with his friends. Unforgettable.

“Never again.”

The hotel itself served a basic 'lodging' roof over your head need. The staff was not only unwilling to help or provide any support and service. They were basically rude and offened they even had to try and talk.

“qualys axotel,LYON”

salle de petit déjeuner petite et quand il y a du monde, déplacement devant le buffet impossible ,génant,avitaillemnet par le presonnel insuffisant malgré le passage en force . sinon tout etait impecable

“Très bien”

Très calme même s'il y a un grand axe routier à côté, petite chambre mais confortable. Pratique pour un court séjour dans la ville.

“Hotel Qualys Axotel : proche de toutes commodités”

Un hôtel à la facade originale et l'intérieur chaleureux. Le Qualys Axotel est idéalement situé à 10 min de la Gare de Lyon Perrache et proche de toutes commodités.

“Axotel Perrache Lyon,climatisé avec excellent rapport qualité/prix”

Excellent rapport qualité/prix . chambre maintenue journellement très propre avec changement presque systématique des serviettes , peignoir et draps. Personnel et services attentionnés.

“Satisfaction Hotel Axotel Perrache”

Hôtel beaucoup trop bruyant. Chambre très mal insonorisée par rapport à la voirie, au couloir (ascenseur) et aux chambres voisines !!!

“Hotel Axotel Perrache propre et de bon confort”

Cet hotel est de bon confort très propre, le petit déjeuner très bien mais tout cela est en rapport avec le prix.
