“Sehr schönes Hotel - jederzeit wieder!”

Das Ibis Hotel hat 2 Sterne aber es hätte mindestens 3 verdient. Es hat eine sehr gute Lage, die Zimmer sind zwar etwas kleiner wie man es kennt aber dafür sehr sauber und gemtülich und modern eingerichtet. Der Check In war völlig problemlos und gerne helfen die Mitarbeiter weiter bei allen möglichen fragen. Das Frühstück morgen hat uns sehr sehr gut gefallen, sehr reichhaltig, nur frische Sachen und eine grosse Auswahl. Einfach toll. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. Wir kommen sicher wieder in dieses Hotel.

Area recommendations
Auf jedenfall die Altstadt mit der langen Fussgängerzone. Und der Neckar, dort gibt es so schöne Fleckchen.

Viele schöne Biergärten und eine Menge Nachtclubs und Bars.

“また利用したい”

チェックイン時間の数時間も前に到着してしまい、荷物を預かってもらおうとしたところ、掃除終了済の部屋にチェックインさせてくださいました。 ひとり旅で、全く英語も話せないため、とても嬉しく、助かりました。 駅出たらすぐでわかりやすいし、ひとりでダブルベッドですごく快適でした。 ぜひまた利用したいです。

“安かろう悪かろう”

７月末に１泊だけ滞在しました。その後滞在した旧市街近くの別のホテルより少し安い宿泊料金でしたが、Ibis Heidelbergは朝食が別料金、部屋でのインターネットも別料金なので、合計では結局、その後宿泊したホテル（無料の快適なインターネットと無料の非常に充実した朝食付き）に比べて安くはありませんでした。居室が狭く、特にバスルームは非常に窮屈でした。（宿泊した階の間取りが貼ってありましたが、どの部屋もほぼ同じ間取りと広さのようです。）部屋でインターネットを使いたかったので有料サービスを申し込みましたが、接続が悪かったためフロントに問い合わせたところ、担当の会社に自分で電話して交渉するように言われ、結局あきらめてキャンセルすることになりました。ホテルのロケーションも、ハイデルベルクに１泊しかしないのなら中央駅への近さはメリットかもしれませんが、何泊かするなら旧市街に近いホテルの方が買物も観光もずっと便利だと感じました。もしまたハイデルベルクに来る機会があったとしても、このホテルには宿泊しません。

“ハイデルベルグ中央駅、線路そばのホテル”

ハイデルベルグ中央駅を拠点に鉄道で日帰り観光するため、このホテルを選びました。同じ目的であればおすすめできます。 部屋は、通路を挟んで、道沿いと線路沿いにそれぞれあります。線路沿いの部屋に宿泊すれば、行き交う列車を部屋から見れたのかもしれません。今回は道沿いの部屋だったため、確認できていません。 部屋の清潔度はおすすめできると思います。バスタブはなく、シャワールームがあります。日本人はバスタブがないと難色を示すそうですが？ ハイデルベルグ中央駅の中にはサンドイッチショップやフルーツバーがあります。朝６時台、夜８時過ぎも営業していたので、食事には困りません。

ハイデルベルグ中央駅にはジオラマが置かれています。ホームから階段を上がった通路を見渡せば見つかるでしょう。ドイツでは、大きな中央駅にジオラマがよく置かれているようです。 Speyer Hbf（シュパイヤー中央駅）までＳバーンで移動すれば、シュパイヤー大聖堂やシュパイヤー技術博物館(Technical Museum Speyer)が見られます。駅から離れているので、Google Mapなどで地図を入手してから行くとよいでしょう。バスでも行けますが、 歴史ある建物が多いので、歩いていくのもおすすめです。 Speyer Hbfからの帰り、Mannheim Hbf（マンハイム中央駅）で途中下車して給水塔などを見るのも良いと思います。 Sinsheim Museum/Arena駅までＳ５バーンで移動すれば、ジンスハイム技術博物館(Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim)が見られます。Sinsheim中央駅の次の駅です。進行方向右手に展示されているコンコルドがわかるはずです。 Sinsheim Museum/Arena駅からの帰り、ハイデルベルグ中央駅の２つ前で下車すると、ネッカー(Neckar)川がホームから見えます。ハイデルベルグ中央駅の方向に歩くと、カールス門(Karistor)があり、さらに４００メートルほど進むと市庁舎や聖霊教会があります。この周辺を散策してもよいし、レストランがあるので食事したり、土産物屋で買い物してもよいでしょう。ハイデルベルグ城へ上がって、景色を眺めるのも良いでしょう。

ハイデルベルグ中央駅の中にある書店は朝６時台から営業していました。文房具類も売られているので、お土産を探す候補地になると思います。
