“The place to stay in Heidelberg”

The room was spacious with high ceiling. Very comfortable. The bathroom was large and bright. Everything was very functional. The beds were so comfortable it felt like sleeping on air. Only negative the television was small, but we hardly stay ed in our room. We would not have to think where to stay the next time we come back to Heidelberg. You will be close to everything, the bakery/sandwich shop next door, the Kaufhof department store across the street, the Hauptstrasse-main shopping street of the Old Town just across the street and straight ahead, so easy to navigate. To the right of the hotel as you exit and 1 block down and across the street is an indoor mall with restaurants, a fitness center, and a 24 hour REWE supermarket. Once you are this hotel, you can relax and know that everything you need to see and do will be easy to find and nearby, in addition to a hotel staff who are the most helpful and friendly personnels you will ever meet.

“Fabulous breakfast...”

We were a little taken aback by the noise and how busy the road directly outside the hotel was. Having said that, it was a great hotel, we were given a welcome drink. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide choice of yummy food. Good shopping and restaurant area.

“An ideal base for visiting Heidelberg”

We stayed 3 nights in a very spacious bedroom plus office/lounge on the second floor. The room was very elegantly furnished with full length blue curtains. There were great views of the Hauptstrasse (pedestrian0 and the tram intersection from the windows. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, brilliant choice of hams and smoked salmon etc.. The location was ideal as it was directly opposite the main pedestrrian thoroughfare, with all the shops and restaurants. Visiting the Schloss is the highlight of any visit, the ruins are really spectacular but there are some fabulous intact structures.

“Small rooms but close to the action”

This hotel is close to the main part of Heidelburg. Restaurants, shopping and the main sights of Heidelberg. Parking is very hard, but after 10PM spaces open up.

“Talk about a room with a view!”

We had a great room on the top floor that had the most amazing view of downtown Heidelberg with the mountains as a backdrop. Simply amazing! Service was excellent as was the breakfast the next day. I can't think of a more convenient location to the downtown attractions. Definitely looking forward to making a return trip.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Excellent location for shopping, eating, transportation. I would definately recommend it to others.

“ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT”

I was not very familiar with the Heidelberg area, so i choose this hotel based on its location near a conference I was attending. It was the best!! Especially for the price, I was expecting much less. The rooms were very spacious and the view was nice. the hotel was extremely clean which isn't something i'm use to, but very picky about. It was right in the city center, there was a delightful bakery next door and several restaurants in walking distance. the train is right across the street and there are a few taxi stations nearby as well. this hotel is definetly perfect for buget, business, or pleasure. I look forward to staying there again.

“If you like LOUD this is your place”

With no AC, keeping your windows open is a must, but the traffic and outside noises are LOUD. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.
