Hotel Borg was our final hotel destination after staying at 4 other properties throughout Iceland. We enjoyed all for different reasons, but HB was definitely the crowned jewel. Understated elegance and old world charm. The renovations have been tastefully done to maintain the connections to the past and preserve the architectural motif. Highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are spacious and accommodating with a feeling of staying in a family vacation home. Location is also outstanding!

This hotel is conveniently located on a square right next to shopping, restaurants And a couple of bus stops for excursions. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, beds comfortable. Highly recommend!

I love the ambience of this hotel, the oldest in the city. It has a very Art Deco appeal which I love. The cocktails at the bar were yummy and the young man who creates these concoctions is enthusiastic and studied in his art. The front desk workers were cordial and very helpful. I loved my room, comfortable and cozy. Finally, I had a massage at the spa and it was perfect. I will return.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is close to everything, from the town to the bus stops. Great breakfast in the morning. I used the gym, equipment worked and was clean. The spa was small but it had what I needed-hot tub. Steam and sauna. The room was amazing. Beautiful art deco decor and the shower was spacious. I highly recommend

Property was good. Seemed very few guests. We ended up with the room next to the lift shaft and an view of flat roof which was a little disappointing
