“Cant wait to go back”
My husband and I recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at Hotel Reykjavik. We found the location, breakfast and service at the hotel fantastic. It is within walking distance of all main attractions. We would also recommend the restaurant next door, Harry's, delicoius food and very reasonable prices.

The staff were helpful in the extreme, brilliant infact, can't praise them enough. Room was excellent, only thing was 2 single duvets on a double bed. Will use this hotel again.

“Nice and Central”
Great trip, everything ran like clockwork and the Hotel was no exception. The hotel was great at recommending places to eat and booked all our trips for us. Very helpful, we were picked up from our Hotel each time,It was so easy. The Hotel is situated just far enough from the main street not to get the noise but only a few minutes walk away. We had an early flight and they even laid breakfast on for us at 4.30am! it does not get any better than that!!!. Would recommend to others.
“Excellent Location, would stay there again!”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were small but clean with a wall mounted flat screen tv and tea/coffee making facilities. We hired a car at the airport and the free parking was very handy. We found the location to be perfect as it was only a one minute walk to the start of the shopping street. There were many different types of restaurant on the main shopping street. Some selling Icelandic treats such as whale and puffin. I was not brave enough to try but we ate at a few of the local restaurants and all were good in our experience. Would definately recommend this hotel and if were to return I would look at this hotel first. I can also recommend the golden circle tour in a super jeep followed by a spot of snow mobiling. The local tourist office were brilliant and found us a tour offering exactly what we wanted for the best price.
“Good value tourist hotel”
Quiet position, 10 minutes walk from main area. Hire a car, as trips are very expensive and then just marvel at the wonderful sights Iceland has to offer. Pizza and Beer a good price at hotel, and do try the whale or puffin for dinner at one of the many restaurants.

Excellent hotel, my only criticism is the narrow single bed.
