I had heard that the USA side was nothing much. Well, the Giacomo sure is! It is tucked into an old office building which has been turned into residences, mostly. We got there too early to check in, and our bags were taken and stored. We were given a map on how to get to area attractions, right within walking distance. Then we were helpfully directed to the breakfast room and told to help ourselves. We had juice, coffee, eggs, bacon and bagels. We took a second cup of coffee up to the observation lounge and got our bearings with the wonderful view. Then we headed to the park and spent all day seeing the breathtaking views. Use the very reasonably priced trolley to get around. Don't miss Cave of the Winds, Luna Island, Terrapin Point, Three Sisters Islands, and the Observation Tower. Our nice breakfast enabled us to do all of these without getting hungry. We came back to the hotel to check in and have a wine. The room was charming and there were chocolates beside the bed. Don't miss the cookies they put out, also.

My wife and I were very suprised by this place as we were on our honeymoon. It kinda seemed dated but it added to the overall comfort and feel. The location is perfect for a Niagara Falls stay, it's a quick walk to everything you want to get to. Everything was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely recommend it and will use it again whenever we are in the area.

Had a good time. I wish I had stayed longer. Next time I will. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Extremely well located. You do not need a car to cross the border. It's much simpler - just walk across - hop on a bus on the other side and you can spend the entire day sightseeing and shopping around.
