“Dennis”

Hotel was very clean and had a good breakfast buffet on the weekend. There was no maid service on the weekend, but since we did not spend much time in the room it didn't matter much.

“Quiet place to stay”

This is a great hotel away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to some restaurants, shops and the highway. The breakfast was wonderful, staff was very helpful with a welcoming, very clean environment. A whole suite for the price of other hotel rooms. Would definitely stay there again!

Area recommendations

It is a few hours away, but Yosemite National Park is a showcase for natural wonders and fun things to do.

“Excellent Hotel in Reno”

I Stayed here for couple of days during my Trip to Lake Tahoe. The hotel itself was very clean and rooms were clean. There was room service every day we stayed.The Front Desk was very helpful while check in. The breakfast was also good and was served hot. There are some good restaurants in a mile drive. It is in a very quiet area. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

“Much better than staying in downtown”

We have been there several time so far. We used to stay in downtown and as you know, lots of smoking and crowd and gambling. Once we found this place we just would not want to fgo back. Everything feels like in a mini country-side resort, quiet and clean, and yet it is a short drive away from where you want to be basically everywhere. This time is the only time we got disappointed for two things. When we opened the top bed sheet we saw hair (many) underneath, meaning the housekeeper did not do a good job even she/he tried to save the washing/changing the bed sheet. The front desk charged me the second time by ignoring my pre-paid Expedia statement. I asked them to correct it upon my check-out and they did, but my credit card was charged, and had to call them the second time a week later for them to correct again, and it took me another week to finally see the $ coming back to my account. I also called the general manager for the bed sheet issue later so hopefully they will improve.

Area recommendations

We were there during Black Friday, so shopping became a great activity, and there are two big malls nearby. Grand Sierra is 10-min drive away, which has the 3-buck movies. It always has one for kids so we never miss the chance. Circus Circus is 15-min drive away. Very convenient for the fun.

Dining

Breakfast is good. We always get up earlier to avoid crowd and running out of food. Manager's Afternoon Treat is only from Tue to Thu, and it is getting skimpy now compared to what we had before.

Family-friendly activities

Swimming pool is clean and fitness center is good, so we never miss it and always spend lots of time there.

“Reno Oasis”

Exceellent place to stay in Reno. Staff was very helpful. The AM breakfast was great. The room was exceptional especially all the amenities. Fitness room had good equipment. And free laundry machines. All toghether a great stay.
