“Nice place.”

Nice place to stay, close to the airport, right off the freeway.

“Staff was very accomodating and bed was comfy.”

Comfy beds, close to airport, staff was very accomodating. The only problem we had was we requested a non smoking room through Expedia and didn't get one. But it was still ok.

We had dinner at Bertha Miranda's, it was very good Mexican food.

“Nice Accomodations”

Nice rooms. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Good location for travelers who would like to be off the strip. I was very satisfied in every aspect.

“Quiet surroundings, Great location!”

We quite enjoyed our stay. We were going to a two-day event at the convention center and La Quinta was just jperfect. The great breakfast was a special bonus.

“Shower runneth over”

We asked for a disabled room and because the shower floor was built at an angle with wheelchair access and the shower curtain was 2 feet above the floor the whole shower and bathroom flooded. Then it was noticed that the sink in the bathroom was cracked from the top of the sink down to the drain. When the management was told about these problems they tried to make it sound like the shower never had flooded before and that they never had seen or heard about the sink. Other then the shower flooding everytime you showered the room was nice and the air condition worked great.

We went to Reno for Street Vibrations and every where we went the service was great and the people were wonderful.

“A keeper for sure”

The hotel was located close to the freeway and easy to find. Also close to the Truckee river, shopping and dining. We requested first floor near the pool and we got just that. The staff was very friendly, they always asked if we needed anything everytime we saw them. Complimentary breakfast was a plus, a nice variety. The kids had a blast at the pool, always a supply of clean towels available. Very reasonably priced and they welcomed our four legged family member! When I go back to Reno I will stay again.

Area recommendations

Rock St park is a nice park on the Truckee river only minutes away from the hotel. Rancho San Rafeal park is beautiful, walkways full of scenery and small animals (rabbits,chipmunks,birds). Kids quest inside the Grand Seirra Resort was a hit. The Animal Ark Preserve is a must see, about 30 minute drive but well worth it.

“La Quinta Inn Reno - stopover”

The La Quinta hotel is clean and fine for a stay overnight. There were guests that were up late in the night talking the the voices kept me from getting a good nights sleep. The location was fine for us, having a car but would be limiting to anyone without a car. Breakfast is included with the motel which was good to have.

Area recommendations

I have no recommendation as this was a brief stopover for us. Some of the bigger Casino's and hotels might be more interesting, but for us just looking for a quiet stopover this motel was fine.

When to go

Best to see southern Utah National parks in the spring or fall, as it seemed to us that it could be very hot visiting them in the summer. We visited in late April which is fine for hiking and the weather was generally good.
