“Ok for a cheap hotel”

Fine place to get out of the storm. Not much else happening, but it was adequate.

“good location, close to downtown”

The hotel grounds and room were clean, nothing spectacular, but adequate. The hotel has easy access to Interstate 80 and Highway 395. The hotel is close to downtown Casinos and the National Bowling Stadium, as well as restuarants. Overall a good hotel for the price.

“overrated”

3/4 inch gap under door allowed you to hear freeway traffic. Looked like a bullet hole in window. Neighborhood was extremely sketchy. Continental breakfast was pathetic.

“only stayed here because casino hotels were all booked”

went to the reno rib cookoff, and had a good time. had to stay here because all the casino hotels were booked. i like to gamble too, and this inn was the somewhat closest to the downtown casinos. short car ride or very cheap cab ride. overall stay was ok.

“Not impressed”

Room was clean, gap in door made it hard to sleep facing freeway. Nice pool, great for the kids!

“Fine for the price.”

It was a good price and at short notice so I was not expecting the Ritz. The people were freindly, the room was clean and comfortable. As usual the shower valve needed some fine tuning so as not to be scalded or frozen. The location was n ot so good being a mile from the strip and the neighborhood was not very impressive either. Still as I said, the price was low and it did the trick. If you just want somewhere to sleep then you could do a lot worse.

“Ok for short stay if all you need is a place to sleep and ahower”

Ok for price but there were a lot better hotels available for a better price available. Found out after I booked. Double beds were small for 2 people. Shower ran hot & cold but mostly cold.

“Nice, notthe best, but a good place to stay”

The Location is okay, and it was fine for me because I was just taking a break from the cold of home. I wanted to fish the river I grew up on and of course I'm nevfer disappointed. The hotel is clean and I was just there to sleep. So it worked out fine for me.

Must see
Your only 30 minutes away from one of the most beautiful lakes in the West. Lake Tahoe!!! There is skiing in the winter and fishing in the summer along with lovely beaches for the kids to play in the water. Should go during the week as there won't be as many people on the beach.
Outdoors or beach
Take the River walk, in Reno, and fish the river. Great trout, if that is the kind of fish you like. I release the fish so that they can get bigger. They fight well, you have to just watch out for the people if you go to the middele of downtown. wouldn't do any fiswhing during the middle of summer. But in the summer there are open concerts in the park. And if you like river rafting there is a course set up in the downtown area as well.

“Nice, inexpensive option”

Room was clean and everything worked. Staff was pleasant. There were no extra thrills, but I also didn't expect any. Short drive to all major casinos. All in all, if you are just looking for a clean room and just a place to sleep, it's a great choice for the price. I would definitely stay there again.
