“Really nice and staff very helpful”

We were travelling by bicycle and they couldn't have been more helpful. There was not a garage for them but the staff made sure they were completely safe overnight

“Very impressed”

This hotel had everything we needed - secure parking, helpful reception, great facilities for kids, great breakfast, and great modern clean room with very comfortable bed. Quite a long walk to the metro into centre of town, but bus goes right outside. Supermarkets very close by also. Easy to reach from autoroute.

“Decent, Functional Location”

This hotel is in a commerical area several kilometres from downtown Rennes. It's just off the expressway, but there's a nice, large park right beside the hotel that's great for jogging. And there's a large shopping centre right across the road which includes a great Carrefours grocery store. Not a lot of character, but quite functional, and less than 5 minutes from St. Jacques airport.

“Good hotel, but lacking lift/disabled access facilities”

Can't fault the hotel at all, other than the lack of access for pushchairs/wheel chairs as even to get to first floor rooms requires access via steps. Room was clean and modern, the bathroom of a good standard. The receptionist who dealt with us on arrival needs to work on his interpersonal skills - he was abrupt and offhand to the point of rudeness and his disdain for the "English" was rather apparent. Other members of staff at breakfast however, were friendly and helpful.

“Great service - recommend for families”

Used the Novotel to break up the journey back to St Malo from the South. The staff were very helpful even finding a home for our 2 rooftop bikes for the night. Room comfortable with 2 adults and 2 small children. Very clean, as you expect from Novotel. Also has a play room for younger kids which came in very useful. Location is great for a short stopover being very close to a shopping mall including a huge Carrefour, McDonalds, Intersport etc. Perfect for stocking up on wine before the final push home.

“Hotel Alma”

This hotel wasn't in a very good location but was fairly comfortable. There is a shopping mall very close by which was convenient and we needed to use it as the restaurant and bar costs were very high (even more so now if you are travelling with sterling
