“Good hotel, quiet location”

Clean, well serviced hotel in Rennes suburbs, 10 mins on bus or 20 mins walk to city centre. plenty of hot water with bath/shower. Clean towels and sheets every day. Comfortable bed plus TV, telephone and WIFI access. No cuboards or anywhere to store clothes. Expedia info stated that breakfast not included. What it should also state is that buffey breakfast is available to purchase as it was very good and plenty of choice. Particularly important as hotel is some way from nearest cafe. Interesting collection of 50's/60's items around as decor. We enjoyed our stay.

Area recommendations
The centre of Rennes is well worth a visit for the impressive 18th/19th century buildings and a few surviving half timbered from earlier times. The museums are of interest including the Museum of Fine Arts. The churches and especially the cathedral are worth a visit for their magnificence and stained glass. The Thapor park is also must see as it is exquistely planted and makes a fine leisurely walk. Eating out is a pleasure with a good range of restaurants serving local food including gallettes and crepes, plus Italian, African and Central American cuisines. The partially coverted market is also worth a visit and really buzzes on market day. A fantastic array of Breton produce from bread, cheese, cidre, honey sausages, meat, fish, fruit and vegatables. A feast for the eye! The centre of Rennes is easy to walk around and is serviced by a very good bus system. Except on public holidays when they do not run. My daughter said it felt very French which we liked but it may not be to everyone's taste. I am sure we would return as we liked the vibrant yet peaceful feel of the place.

“hôtel basique à tarif correct”

Hôtel basique dont l'intérêt peut résider dans son tarif ,chambre banale,petit déjeuner lui tout à fait correct ,calme mais situé dans une zone sans grand intérêt

“Hotel correct mais accueil peu aimable...”

La ch. 29 qui m'a été attribuée était sous les toits, glaciale, avec un radiateur insuffisant. Petite, sans rangement, j'ai passé une première nuit dans une "cabine réfrigérée". Personne à la réception le soir pour régler mon problème. Pour se laver le matin, eau chaude en quantité restreinte et rapidement devenue tiédasse. L'hotelier prévenu a pris mes remarques de haut :"restons en là , chechez ailleurs et je ne vous fait pas payer la nuit ! " A quoi je lui réponds qu'en déplacement professionnel, je n'ai pas le temps de m'en occuper. Aprés discussion, il me propose une autre ch.(la 4) au 1er étage qui m'a donné satisfaction pour les autres nuits. Les petits dej. sont corrects, mais là encore aucun service quand il manquait qqchose sur le buffet. En résumé, un hotel plutot confortable dans une gamme de prix raisonnable, avec parking, assez bien situé par rapport à la ville de Rennes bien que mal signalisé, mais géré par un hotelier peu soucieux de bien accueillr. D'ailleurs on ne le voit que trés peu, sauf au moment de faire la note...!

“problème soulevé”

réservation pour 2 mais chambre préparée pour 1 réajusté le matin car petits déjeuners offerts aux 2. Alors plus rien à dire.
