“What you expect”

Just what you would expect from a budget hotel. The rooms are OK, everything worked, bath is small (as usual in France), but showers were good. The walls are paper thin - you can hear when the occupant of the next room is taking a shower and whenever anyone passes by your room, but pretty typical for the price range. Room was clean, beds comfortable, and service was fine. Location is in an industrial area (not noisy) quite a way from the town centre.

Area recommendations
Rennes Centre Ville is great. Fabulous old architecture, great bars, cafes and restaurants. A bit prciey at today's exchange rates, but some very good eating out! There seem to be a lot of beggars going around, which can be annoying, but no real trouble.

“hôtel campanile atalante”

bonjour... l'hôtel ne dépare pas la qualité des campaniles...mais il est beaucoup trop éloigné du centre ville et surtout de la gare, cela nous a créé pas mal d'ennuis..! et c'est dommage car mon choix du campanile avait été fait après étude du plan de rennes qui indique le campanile situé en face de la gare et dont l'accueil a été très agréable quant aux renseignements pour rejoindre le nôtre et pour les bus à prendre pour notre rendez-vous... je vous remercie, cordialement, monique laplace

désolée mais nous y étions pour des funérailles..!
Getting around
un nouveau métro roule dans rennes...et les bus sont présents...cependant, en ce moment des travaux de voiries ralentissent la circulation...

“sympa et conviviale”

j'ai passée a deux reprises de super séjour là bas un peu loin du centre ville mais tant mieux car on n' y trouve un vrai dépaysement.

“Gerne wieder”

Für unseren Zweck war das Zimmer okay, etwas eng, aber sauber und ruhig. Bis zur Innenstadt per Auto ca. 12 Min. Es besteht auch eine Busverbindung. Im Restaurant haben wir abends gut gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, z. T. mit sehr guten Englischkenntnissen.
