“You get what you pay for”

The Antheus provides cheap bedrooms above a restaurant, which is about a 60 minute easy paced walk from the old city. The rooms were very clean, you could open the windows, and the area seemed very safe. We stayed one night, a Sunday night, and there was no reception desk -- we arrived around 11am and were lucky to find the cleaning staff there. We were allowed to leave our luggage, and they carried it up the two flights of narrow stairs to our room (no elevator). The restuarant was closed on Sunday, however one staff person arrived around 8am on Monday and she checked us out and called a taxi for us. The taxi from the ferry terminal to the hotel was 15 Euro, and it cost 8 Euro to go to the train station on Monday. Restaurants, open on Sunday evening, were hard to find in that area, although lots would have been available in the old town.

“Can't ask for more...”

this Hotel was our last day in France after 200 miles cycling in Brittany. The owners could not have done more to make us feel welcome, comfortable in our room and looked after. The hotel is about 40 mins walk to the wall St Malo, but the local market and little shops around where very nice.Just to add to their kindness, just to mention that I forgot my shortsight glasses in the room. I phone them and ask them how they wanted me to organise to pay them to send them to me: they wouldn't take any money and 4 days later they were through my letter box in a plastic glass box, so they didn't get damage in the Mail. Honestly I would go there-any time!!!

Hotel modeste mais confortable. Restauration excellente, originale. Accueil très sympathique. A recommander aux amateurs de whisky, le patron est un passionné.

Un petit hotel charmant au coeur de ST Malo à proximité de la vieille ville et du centre moderne. Chambre sympa, mais un accueil excellent.

Ce petit bourg, collé à St Malo est loin de la foule en délire. Le duo qui officie à l'Hôtel Antheus a su insuffler un charme poétique, cosy et jazzy à ce lieu qui aurait pu rester quelconque et désuet. Chaque chambre porte une empreinte différente. Le voyage continue... Elle, elle sait vous accueillir et vous faire vous sentir bien. Lui, il sait s'y prendre pour vous titiller les papilles et vous ravir l'estomac. Comment ne pas rêver d'un autre voyage qui passerait par St Malo?

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel . Je trouve l'hôtel très bien situé, un peu excentré du centre ville, au calme, proche de la mer, parfait.... L'originalité de chaque chambre ne fait que renforcer le charme de cet hôtel. Sans parler de l'accueil et de la gentillesse des propriétaires qui sont vraiment très chaleureux. Hôtel que je recommanderai fortement, allez y vous n'y serez pas déçu!! Merci pour ces deux nuits!!

Hôtel un peu excentré de St Malo mais compensant par un accueil et une gentillesse hors norme des exploitants. A recommander !

Excellent séjour, la patronne est très souriante la chambre est bien équipé et propre les draps sont tout doux ! La carte du restaurant est très sympa et le pain et les viennoiseries fournis par la boulangerie Picquart sont délicieux !
