Hotel is not too bad but in secluded area with deserted feel No nearby restaurants etc. A casino is next door adjoined to hotel. Felt unsafe but maybe not. Can you say “ ghost town feeling” Spooooky at night. And in the woods. Hotel was quiet and comfy. Just my thoughts

The staff at the front desk advised no pets, after it was communicated on expedia that it was pet friendly. They told me to contact expedia for a refund, both declined. Wont be using this service again.

We called ahead to let them know we were arriving late. We arrived at 2100. Night staff was very friendly. Check in only took a few minutes. Room was clean . Breakfast in the am was fantastic.

It is in the middle of nowhere, the lady put us in a room farthest from anyone, the shower was for a little person, the plug in the sink was broken and had black crap all over it, (I almost threw up) urine all under the toilet seat plugs/screws, something gross “sprayed” on the back of the headboards, probably from sex, the cable was out of service and I called to the front desk and I was told “oh my gosh I’m so sorry, I forgot to tell you the cable is out and our repair man can’t come” this after we got into our room, no hot tub when it says there’s one online, the casino was completely closed for the “season”, carpets stained, beds were hard as a rock. Pillows were either flat or hard. We could hear the neighbors entire convo and were extremely loud!!! Pool is SUPER small, and pictures are deceiving. There’s a diarrhea sign telling you if you have had diarrhea, then you cannot go swimming! lol this place was a total joke! Plus I was told I’d get a discount for signing up for rewards and only got $8.00 off! I deserve a refund and an extra weeks stay at your best establishment, if you have one. I was so extremely tired after driving 6 hours, but I couldn’t even sleep on the hard bed! I have pictures of all of this and will post it online for everyone to see, because it was disgusting!!! The food in the morning was “ok” but you gotta do better, you all make the same dang gross folded up eggs with cheese inside, and it’s just gross!!!!

Love that this property is in the middle of the Redwoods. Convenient off the 101 highway. Clean room, great bed…king, we just left a property that was a twin, so this is heaven.

We had a 2-night stay. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Things I liked: 1. Convenient location just in the heart of the Redwood NP. 2. The room was very clean. Things were in excellent condition. Bedding was very good. 3. Staff was friendly. 4. The breakfast was great with many options. 5. Easy parking. Had a mixed feeling about the noise level in the room: 1. The bathroom fan is always on, which I did not have control. But I could not hear it if the bathroom door was shut, which was good. 2. Our room faces the hill, not facing the highway. Barely had much traffic noise. 3. The window air conditioning unit was loud. I could not fall asleep with it on. Had to turn it off. Also the sound of the air conditioning units from other rooms could also be heard in our room. 4. On the 2nd night people in the next room talked loud, loud enough to woke me up in the middle of sleep. Luckily they stopped after a while. I wore earplugs and high my head deeply in the pillow. It helped a lot... In general I really enjoyed this place except the air conditioner noise. Hope this helps.

Great Hotel but Plz Recycle Air
The condition and service of the hotel (including the front desk staff) were fantastic! I've only one issue: the room actually had a bathroom scent when I walked in. Maybe because unlike other hotels, this one did not have the AC/Heat running to cycle the air so the room got stuffy till someone checked in and open the door. The odor was quite strong, but like all scent your nose adjust to it.

First time at a Holiday Inn Express
I didn’t realize the hotel is connected to a casino. I traveled with small kids so I would have preferred knowing beforehand (maybe it stated in the description and I missed it). Only real complaint is in regards to asking for more towels/pillows. Had to explain/justify getting more which is annoying. We had 4 towels in the room for 6 people. No spare pillows for the pull out couch. No matter the situation though, it shouldn’t be a big deal to ask for more pillows/towels.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was also very welcoming and helpful. The location is adjacent to a casino and there is a restaurant as well. But not much else around the area. Good jumping off point to get to the Redwoods though.
