“Dirty floor and under construction”
We were not informed that they were under construction. I would never have booked at this hotel if I had known. The floors were never cleaned. We were informed they had a heated pool but were told at the reception desk that that was not the case. We experienced some cool days when there and a heated pool would have been perfect, especialy for my three year old. The area leading to the beach looked nothing like the photos provided. The photos give the impression that this is an area to sit and relax but it looked abandoned. There were two hammocks there. One looked old and was torn.
“great location and close to alot of things to do..”
I really enjoy the stay very much. Love the pool area even though it was suppose to be heated and it was very cold, some people at the pool would not get in. I like the idea that it was close to the beach. Nice roome yet they do need a new shower head in room 133. Very clean and friendly place. I would go back.
“great place”
hotel is new, nice, quiet, (smaller than most other hotels around), right on the beach with plenty of stuff nearby. would totally stay there again. and it was all tile, as beach hotels should be. also had coat racks, but for lots of towel drying.
“The Beauty of White Sand Beaches.”
The Hotel looked similar to the photos, just kinda super sized. The staff was wonderful and very accomodating to anything we needed or requested. The interior of the hotel (though was outside) was beautiful to wake up to every morning. The pool was clean and well maintained and got alot of use from the kids. The view of the beach as you sit there with your first coffee of the morning, gave us the most serene feeling and set the stage for a great day. The sands were like walking through silk everyday and the aqua color of the water was magnificent. The kids and I had a great time and I will definitely book this hotel in the future.
“Tropical paradise on a small scale”
Very well-maintained property with plenty of shade both by the pool and overlooking the gulf. Beautiful clean beach and water. Rooms are small but very nice. We ate several meals outside by shopping at a close-by grocery. Will definitely go back.
“Great hotel during the day...not at night!”
The hotel was overall very nice. It was small but all of the amenities were new. During the day the hotel is quiet and family friendly. However at night, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on outside your door. Very hard to sleep when people are up wondering and talking outside your door at 1 in the morning. There is no front office staff on duty at night to complain to so we had to just go with it. If I stayed here again I would recommend one of the suites closest to the beach as there are fewer people there.
“Not What Was Promised!”
At first the room was fine, although not the room we had booked online. We were looking forward to a Gulf view but ended up with a room over a generator overlooking the parking lot. Every 15 minutes a very loud humming filled the room. We could also hear the couple next door and the boisterous vocalizations of the numerous children running about the property. Since the beach was gorgeous and we fortunately brought our own beach chairs and towels - none provided by the hotel - we decided we wouldn't spend much time in the room anyway and not worry. However, on Sunday morning at about 8 a.m. we noticed the emergence of multiple winged insects in the bathroom. This was followed by crawling, winged similar insects coming out of the comforter on the bed. It was disgusting. By 9 a.m. we had killed about twenty. We continued to monitor and kill the insects while packing and leaving as soon as possible. By 10 a..m. we were on our way. Incidentally, there was an ice machine but no container (ice bucket, etc) in the room to transport the ice. We ended up using the three plastic cups supplied in the room. Poor timing? We understand this is Florida but the hotel must do a better job maintaiining and exterminating!
“Extremely nice hotel, WILL go back anytime... just a couple things they should fix”
Fantastic Hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, great location! If I had anything negative to say it would be that the mattresses are a little hard in the rooms i've stayed in, and the picture showing the nice palm trees with the hammocks underneath are not as pictured. The entire tops to the trees have been cut off. So dont expect a nice shady area to relax or read a book, unless you like the scorching sun because the hammocks are still there. Otherwise a great hotel!
“Gem on the beach!”
The Hotel Isis CAN be a welcome oasis from all of the surrounding high-rise hotels. We had a king beach front so we could sit in our room and have beach 5 feet away and look right at the gulf. It was amazing. The room itself was fairly small, but we didn't care. We were there for the view and access to the beach. The staff was friendly when we checked in and when we needed anything. We never tried the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. The hammocks are attached to palm tree "trunks" but we didn't care. There are plenty of grills available for use and a reasonable amount of seating/tables for use. If I could change anything, it would be to somehow make the walls/ceiling more sound insulated, and have some basic dinner ware (plates, bowls, silverware). Again, it wasn't "perfect" compared to regular hotel rooms, but being right on the beach was awesome!
“was not impressed!”
The location was great by ocean but, wasnt anything around if you dont have a car you need to get a taxi, bathroom has no storage room, employees were not friendly at all! I loved to get up early an drink coffee at ocean, on their add they stated coffee in lobby, girl at desk said only if its under 80 degrees, well it wasnt and i can drink coffee all morning, room has coffee maker but makes 4 cups, so every morning I would walk acouple blocks to gas station to get coffee
