Served the purpose of a place to sleep on a road trip. Breakfast is nothing but granola bars. Can’t recall what website advertises. Glad to see many guests stayed there tho.

Love the soft towels. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is very limited though. But I understand there were not many guests because of the snow strom was coming that few days. Been this hotel few times and will come back again.

Don’t do it!
Old hotel that is beat up and needs repair! Room was not taken care of, hole in wall and paint peeling. 1st room they gave us smelled like wet dog… my advice, don’t do it!

I don't really know Redding that well but I can say this is the nicest Super 8 I've ever stayed at and I stay in a lot of hotels for work. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and facilities and in what seems to be a decent neighborhood. Very close to shopping and food as well as right off the freeway.

Went in our room and there was pubic hair and debris in the bed. Then went to use the toilet and there was urine and pubic hair on the toilet seat. Obviously not cleaned.

The property was filthy and had roaches. I will never again book a Super 8 motel. Very disappointed; booked through Expedia and the motel would not refund stating that a screen was damaged. Maybe the screen was old.

Thank you for your review. We found that there were no roaches in the room upon inspection. We did find that the guests who were in that room had the screen off the window and propped up against the wall and bent up. Old food in bags with clothes and food like chicken bones, cut up pineapple just laying around. That is just inviting a pest to come and join you. We have regular pest control performed every month and there has been no evidence of a pest infestation.

AC didnt work. I had to ask the staff to help. They tried to change my room instead of fixing it. I felt for the price I paid, it is not worth it. The breakfast was not good. I found out the bed sheets dirty. Only pro was I did not find bed bugs.

Thank you for your feedback. Our front desk staff cannot fix an A/C unit and that's why they offered to move you to a different room. I can assure you that the sheets are laundered after each guest and we apologize if there may have been a mark or stain that was overlooked and we will definitely let our staff know to be more attentive when making up the bed. We are sorry that you did not care for the breakfast offering.

I’ve stayed here twice while passed through. It’s a good value but also a bit run down. My first room smelled like human urine but they swiftly moved me to a new room. Front desk is always helpful and friendly. Both times I’ve been here, people (guests?) have lingered in the parking lot which is a noise issue and maybe a safety issue.

We didn’t sleep well. Super uncomfortable beds! The furniture, walls and floors were all dinged up. Toilet seat was chipped and stained. Cable tv kept cutting out. Very disappointed we spent over $110 for these poor conditions. Spend the extra $ to get a good nights rest elsewhere!

I like the area because its close to eating establishments, gas stations, grocery store and costco. Its right off hwy 5. I didn't like the holes in the shower walls where the curtain rod had been reinstalled, and the hole around the shower head in the wall. The staff are always very friendly. I stay at this establishment every few months on my way from Oregon to California to visit family.
