What a great surprise this hotel was wonderful! Staff was so pleasant and welcoming. Safe area, stores around. King suite was amazing and the breakfast was good. I will definitely book this room again next time I’m by the Jersey shore! Five starts given here.

Modern, clean, quiet, comfortable and safe. Great experience. Travelled with one child and one teenage. King suite was perfect and comfortable. My daughter enjoyed the bath tub and higher end body wash. Would stay again!

It is a very nice and quiet location a few miles away from Asbury Park as it is much quieter and yet has full access to fun places in Asbury Park.

The stay was fine, Rooms were outdated amd some of the furniture including the bed was worn..Usually Marriott has amazingly comfortable beds. Unfortunately the middle was a bit sunken and was a bit uncomfortable.

issues with toilet & tv - no offer to change room
the inner workings of the toilet were not working. A repair person came by the 2nd day of my stay to fix, but he did not completely fix, and I had to manually adjust the flapper so the tank could fill. Also, tv would not turn off - but couldn't be repaired until my 3rd day because engineer was not on site. Hotel did not offer to change my room nor offer to reimburse me for some % of the daily rate! Have stayed there before with no problems.

Free Breakfast was outstanding. Beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Only negative- Air vent headed directly at pillow of one side of the bed though which made my husband uncomfortable during the night.

Property is under renovation. We chose this hotel because it had a pool, it was under repair. We booked a room with 2 queen beds. The room only had one bed. It smell terrible.

Disappointed!
We checked in late night to find the place under construction in the lobby, breakfast room, and elevator. Our unit was very worn and dated. Mirror peeling in bath, carpet and trim very worn, water damaged wall, and just overall worn out! Very disappointed because usually Residence Inns are perfect.We don’t mind paying good money for a nice place, but this experience left us feeling very cheated.

We keep coming back
My wife and I have stayed here several times and will keep coming back. Our room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and with a large area to eat in. The location may seem a bit odd. From one direction you drive thru a residential area, the other way is a block off a highway, near a shopping area. The property is set in a quiet location.
