"Very accommodating staff and Outstanding Value"
We were coming off a 14 day cruse with arrival at the hotel at 8:30 am with a departure on the following evening from the hotel at in effect 2 days. Initially booked one room with 2 double beds. When we got to the hotel, they did not have an available room for early check in with double beds, so they not only gave us early check-in, but 2 rooms with kings in each next to each other. It gets better as in explaining our situation about not departing until 7pm the following day and requesting a late checkout, we were allowed to keep the rooms until then. So, in summary, we had 2 king size rooms from 8:30 am until 7:00 pm the following day for the price of the initial booking. The rooms also included free internet and breakfast. The hotel was very clean, close to many attractions, and to the hop-on- hop off bus ticket booth (stop #1). What a great value! We highly recommend this hotel. (obviously, the flexibility provided on the rooms are based on availability...we just got lucky).

Pocket Guide: Recoleta, Buenos Aires Historic Hotels

Silence surrounds this neighborhood’s main attraction: the Recoleta Cemetery. Many famous Argentines are buried here, including Eva Perón, the first lady whose life and ambition are dramatized in the musical Evita. Recoleta’s villas once housed the city’s elite. Today, embassies and galleries reside in the grand buildings. La Biela sidewalk café is a protected landmark popular for people watching.
