Staff made an average decor hotel an amazing place to stay. Very relaxing. Great view. Hotel right at sea. Access to great Red Sea snorkeling via nearby pier (to protect the coral reef at hotel side). All inclusive is a good deal though food not amazing. Would go back

"You can enjoy your stay if you are well prepared"
Be prepared to get the a good experience. The administration is not very well organized. After the email confirmation I received from expedia, I called the hotel 3 times and asked them for an email confirmation from their side. Despite all of that I had hard time in the check in: it was late after midnight, 4 staff trying to check us in and the process was more than one hour!! First, the telephone number I called was their main office in Cairo, the staff at the park did not have record of my booking. Luckily my phone records the telephone conversation and I had to make them listen to the phone calls I had made with their cairo office to confirm my booking. So they settled the matter quickly and gave me a nice room!
1- Pay Directly to Expedia & do not take the "pay at the hotel option", the American Experess I used while booking online didn't work on their machine, it was simply declined; luckily I had a visa card too. also the conversion rate they made to the room rate from US$ to Egyptian Pound was high, when converted back to US$ in my credit card's bank I ended up paying 5% extra. In addition, this will make the expedia reward points wait for weeks to be reflected in your account.
2- Call the hotel on both numbers at Cairo office & Sharm El Sheikh, and make sure you know the name of the person taking your call and ask for a confirmation email from hotel.
3- Hotel Taxi is unreliable, we reserved a car for airport in advance but it came 30 minutes late!

staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, especially the reception guys; who offered fantastic service even when some guests were rude and abusive towards them. these guys deserve a medal.
all the areas of the hotel have been well kept and looked after, the swimming pools are always clean and the gardens are brilliant, lovely evening walks around flowers, statues, water features and of course the magic garden and the beach.

The Beach Albatros is great for families and groups. Easter is a good time to go sun the minute you arrive. The food is varried all inclusive is in the main buffet restaurant. To eat in other hotel restaurants there is a charge although not expensive. Pool/table football/ice cream is extra charge. The staff are good with children and very polite nothing is to much trouble. Easy to get to Naama Bay. Trips are the same price where ever you buy them. It is our second visit the only reason we will not go back is because the world is a big place and we want to see more of it.

The hotel staff are brilliant as is the reef on the beach. But as a scuba diver the dive site let it down as only cater for beginners....but fabulous snorkilng. The two thins that really let the hotel down was it was 95% Russians so they did not cater for British tastes....hense the food was absolutely awful I litterally lived off of soup & bread & omlette in the morning. If they improved the quality of the food especially the meat & chicken then maybe there would be more Brits here as apart from that I would love to go back. Also the mozis are rife!!

Situated at the tip of a small peninsula of land at the north point of Sharm el Sheikh Harbor, Ras Umm Sid is a popular area for diving. Snorkeling and diving are excellent in this region due to the large amount of table coral that attracts a variety of sea life.
