From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service was superb. We arrived extra early, about 9 am, and they checked us in. We later changed rooms to a location closer to the pool (because of our 3 year old), and they were very accommodating. The room was spacious! It was hot there, so we did have our A/C on. The resort itself is beautiful! The beachfront is very nice, with lots of seating. Unlike other hotels I have been at where the beach chairs are all taken with towels by 8 am, when we got there around 9-10 am each day, there were lots of seats available. The beach is rocky, like many in the Red Sea, and shallow - perfect for our little son. We did rent a paddle boat one day; they even had a little life jacket that fit nicely for our son, and the guys at the boat rental helped to fit it on him right. We found the pool to be freezing oddly enough our first day, and not too bad the other days. There is a small kids pool as well. The food is spectacular! Breakfast is the same daily, but so many choices. Lunch and Dinner had different specials each day, and we really looked forward to arriving at the restaurant to see what we would get to eat. The head chef was always out at dinnertime to greet guests, ask them about their food that day, and to help change up the empty trays. Our servers in the restaurant, Hamada and Waleid, were great - they always had our drinks at the table when we walked in! Actually, all of the staff are wonderful at the hotel. I really hope to go back!

Overall I had a good experience , initially there was a problem in finding my reservation which I did through Expedia. After talking to custermer care from Expedia and speaking to the human resources personal at the hotel we were able to resolve the problem.
One of the employee in the hotel was very rude but he was soon taken away from the interaction and a very polite person was In charge.
"Very well-maintained hotel, very friendly staff."
Very good hotel experience and friendly, attentive staff (especially Ali & Mohammed at the front desk). Only negatives: the bank ATM ate my debit card and it took 2 days to get back (not the hotel's fault) and the quality of the food (mediocre at best).

The Tiran Hotel or Tiran Island Hotel (which is what is on the sign when you arrive) is very close ot the airport. You can actually see the airport from the gates of the hotel. If you are going to a conference in the immediate vicinity of Naama Bay then I would recommend staying at a different hotel. The Tiran Island Hotel however offers excellent service and good value for money for those who are looking for a place to relax and unwind. It is a little far away from the main road but there are regular taxis that you can get at the gate or a shuttle into Naama Bay from the hotel direct for a reasonable price. If you are like me and like to be able to walk around at night then it can get to be a bit much having to take a taxi to get where you want to go. Otherwise, I have nothing but high regards for the management and staff of the hotel.
P.S. A word to the wise. Many taxis do not know where this hotel is as it is relatively new and there are other Tiran Hotels in Sharm-el-Sheikh. Just tell them "Montazah" and near to the Baron Hotel.

North of Sharm el Sheik, this location offers spectacular views of the Red Sea and Tiran Island, which is visible from land. A popular dive site of this region due to Ras Nasrani’s colourful underwater scenery, many individuals indulge in spectacular day and night dives suited for expert and novice divers.
