“Reasonable experience”
Received a very favorable rate at this Embassy Suites location for three nights. It was within easy access to the airport and meeting sites in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. A variety of restaurants in close proxity. Some positive features about the hotel include a spacious and functional lobby, adequate guest suites, good excersie room with an adjacent indoor pool and outdoor sun area, and an evening reception. Breakfast offerings are exceptional. Business center is adequate, though no free wifi. While many staff members were very accomodating and gracious, others were disinterested. The air conditioning unit in the room was very noisy and the lighting seemed inadequate - too dark. Overall, though, it was a reasonable experience and I would return in the future.
“Would definitely Stay Again!”
Had to go to Raleigh, Durham for a family members illness, stayed at the Embassy Suites, RDU- Like all Embassy Suites- the Hotel was clean, the check in was easy, amd we enjoyed the hotel's nightly managers reception and cooked to order breakfast ( included in the room rate ) Would definitely return to this Hotel.Nice Staff- very freindly and helpful!
“Hotel was nice”
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The lobby was beautiful, the service was great and breakfast was very nice every morning. I have two complaints though: 1. My hotel room smelled like a pet had urinated in it, that was unpleasant. 2. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. I would stay at this hotel room again providing I was not in the same room that I had this stay.
“Embassy Raleigh”
Very nice hotel, suite was spacious and clean. The interior atrium is the highlight of the hotel with a waterfall and fish. The breakffast was very good however, there was a bit of a wait to get throught the line. They could better lay out the breakfast buffet to streamline and improve service. It is annoying when you get your food hot but it takes so long to get throught the line that it is cold before you get to a table.
“Rooms needs a little remodelling but overall was not bad.”
We enjoyed our stay, but the rooms could use a little upgrading and refurbishing. They could use some flat screens tv. Beds were really comfortable. I guess like everyone else they are cutting back on some things because the Manager's reception food was a little skimpy but the breakfast was very good. Located in a business area so during the weekends the area is very quiet, but just the opposite during the week. There are a few moderate and upscale restaurants in the vicinity, but you will need to drive to any other type of activity.
“Nice stay at the Embassy Suites.”
We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Cary with our two young children to catch an early flight out of RDU the next day. Staff was very friendly. Our fridge was not working upon checkin, but staff arrived to fix it promptly and then sent housekeeping to clean it once it was running. Beds were comfy, bath was not impressive, but it was clean. Pool was very warm and empty, had a great time playing there with the kids. Also had a nice dinner at the in house restaurant, practically had it to ourselves but the food was much better than I expected. Overall nice stay and would definitely stay there again.
“Very nice place to stay”
We stayed here while visiting our daughter in Cary. The hotel is very accommodating and has very comfortable beds. The breakfast is also very good. We had our adult son with us, and there was plenty of room for all of us and the two TV's were appreciated. We got a very good rate from Expedia and we would certainly stay here again.
“Very nice large room.”
We loved having the separate sitting room and bedroom areas. The kitchenette was also a great plus. The staff was very friendly. We left our car there for the week, as we flew out of the airport for vacation. That saved us at least $42 in airport parking fees, making the stay that much more of a bargain.
“We loved the hotel”
I had a special circumstance and needed to check in a little early to get ready for a big event. The hotel desk person was wonderful. Very pleasant on the phone and when we arrived she was even better. I am a big fan of Embassy Suites.
“Very accommodating.”
They let us check-in at 9:30 am after an all night drive. We were able to crash in the room for 5 hours and wake up refreshed in time for a rehearsal dinner. Thanks much!
