We had no idea that renovating and the noise level was beyond in acceptable. Actually, the walls were thin so that we could hear the smallest bump next door. There was no sugar for the free coffee and no kids for the cups. The saving grace was the wonderfully sweet and pleasant staff.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to cook for yourself: Microwave, full-size refrigerator, flatware, etc. This comes at a cost. The hotel food and beverage choices are very limited and not cost-effective. Either grocery shop or dine out. Lastly, I wish that hotel bathrooms in general would acquire toilets with a proper ratio of seat height to water level. You wouldn't tolerate that "surprise" in your home, so why do that to paying customers? It's an industry-wide phenomenon/practice. Overall, it really is a ver nice hotel though.

Everything was clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. They allow pets. The only reason I did not give 5 stars on comfort is due to the bed being too soft. I know this is not a problem for most but that is my only small problem. Candlewood Suites is awsome

It’s a fair deal for the price. It’s good for someone that wants to save money by not eating every meal out. It has declined somewhat in the attention to detail. If you can call getting a room with no recliner, or just a hard folding chair at the desk, a detail. I understand there are renovations happening, floor by floor so that may improve. I’ve been coming to the hotel for two years about four times a year and it used to be better. Still the best hotel in the immediate area for the dollar in my opinion. The fact that they are pet friendly is a plus for me.

Do not stay here!
DO NOT STAY HERE! I reserved a ONE BEDROOM SUITE for me and my husband after driving 5+ hours with kids and a dog, to check into the property and be given a basic hotel room. Very OUTDATED and currently in the middle of remodeling so construction equipment filled parking lot. Had to park in Wallgreens across street. Literally the LOUDEST bed i have ever slept on. Remote batteries were dead and had to unplug the TV to turn it off. So had two options TV off, or on volume 50 on food network🙄. When asked for appropriate room, said there was nothing they could do and the manager Alfred NEVER CALLED OR REFUNDED THE DIFFERENCE! We stayed 2 nights in a basic hotel room and charged for one bedroom suite. Hotels.com gave me a credit which made situation better

Check in issues. But clean n comfortable
Check in was awful. They didn’t have our reservation or the reservation for the woman in front of us. Only one person on staff and she was nice but In over her head with no backup. It actually took one hour and 15 minutes to get a room!! Although we had prepaid with proof, we had to pay again and now have to deal with getting a refund. Otherwise a good place to stay. Clean and comfortable.

Well, the hotel was lovely. The only bad thing was in the morning I had to take a shower before I could go to my doctors appointment and the shower was broken so the whole time I was trying to spray off the shower was spraying water directly in my face and I’m claustrophobic so I had to end my shower but I did let them know before I left that the showerhead was broken. That was really the only problem I had.

The room was a bit musty smelling. The desk chair had a huge piece of material missing making it look shabby and unkept. The nice staff took it away but could not find one to replace it. The mattress was lopsided. The people above us were thumping around. There was a great shower but things were so unkept I didn't feel compelled to have the coffee offered. It was unappealing.

Low standards in the room. Service desk A-
Dingy hotel in need of a serious upgrade. Place smelled like stale cigarettes and mold. Bed was springy and hard. Carpet dirty. They were nice enough to make sure a crib was in the room so I’ll give them that.
