“At least it's in a good location”

The woman at reception was not friendly and not helpful. The double bed was tiny and oddly low to the ground. The bathroom was unfinished, and the toiletries were used. It was in a very good location, though. We had a bit of an argument at check-out over whether we had paid for breakfast (we had, when we booked on Expedia). It was a tense end to the visit.

The cathedral and the cathedral close are packed, historic, and lovely.

“Satisfaction pour l'Hôtel Océania Quimper”

Très bon accueil à cet hôtel, très bien situé pour une visite de la ville. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Les chambres à deux lits sont suffisamment spacieuses pour un séjour de deux ou trois jours, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans certains établissements. Rapport qualité/prix très correct .

Area recommendations
La visite approfondie de Quimper (avec musées) et Concarneau.

TGV direct, (trajet un peu long entre Quimper et Rennes)
Getting around
Très bon réseau de cars sur toute la région (pas besoin de voiture) La gare routière se situe à côté de la gare SNCF

“un hôtel sans prétention à 2 pas du centre ville”

Cet hôtel plutôt bien situé vous ravira par la qualité de service de ses réceptionnistes. La chambre est quelquonque mais sans bruit. Le lit est confortable.

“escale océania, quimper”

cet hôtel est bien situé, la rue est calme. dans les petites rues alentours on peu trouver tout type de restaurants (crêperie, asiatique, pizzeria...) et de bar. les places de parking sont gratuites dans la rue après 18h30. nous avons passés un bon séjour.

Area recommendations
à voir, le centre ville tout près de l'hôtel (accessible à pieds). les plages du Treustel, île Tudy, Loc Tudy (dans les environs de Combrit, accessible en voiture à une vingtaine de minutes). et toutes les petites villes alentour.

“Affascinante Bretagna tutta da scoprire.”

Sono soddisfatta della scelta di questo hotel, comodo e piacevole nonostante il via vai frequente di viaggiatori. Comodo e veloce anche il wi-fi gratuito il personale è accogliente efficente e gentile. Unico neo: l'hotel non ha parcheggio e bisogna evitare le fasce a pagamento, non sempre si parcheggia a meno di un chilometro ma, poi, il resto è tutto guadagno. Ottima ed abbondante colazione. Offre vai utili servizi.

Area recommendations
Quimper è comoda come base per visitare le varie zone della Bretagna.. ed è perfetta per il Finistère di cui fa parte. Ha due bei musei, un centro e vari locali e negozi carini.
When to go
L'estate per noi italiani mi sembra più indicata, ho incontrato svariati conterranei, in ogni zona, anche se nelle località verso sud (Morbihan) è più pieno di turisti.
What to pack
Ad agosto l'escursione termica tra giorno e notte (22/12 gradi) si fa sentire: la cosa che più ho usato è stato il gilet da barca a vela perchè al sole fa anche abbastanza caldo, e le scarpe da trekking in goretex e non; per la sera una giacca wind stop o una felpa sotto una giacca da trekking.

Museo dipartimentale Bretone e Museo delle Belle Arti a Quimper. La pointe du Raz a Cap Sizun. La costa ed il paese di Douarnenez. Il paesino di Locronan. Il golfo del Morbihan. La costa di granito rosso. La penisola di Crozon. Il faro di Le Conquet.
Dining
I locali consigliati dal locale ufficio del turismo sono ok, ottima cucina indiana. In albergo si trovanto tutte le info utili in comodi raccoglitori. Ovunque ottime insalate e crepes salate (galettes) di grano sarraceno.

Tutta la Bretagna in generale.

“Assez déçu”

Sans grand intérêt, chambre mansardée donc petite.salle de bain pas terrible. Appéciation générale: bôf !!

“Nous avons apprécié cet hotel en plein centre ville et surtout son prix très attractif en week end.”

Très bon rapport qualité/prix en week end . Dommage que les chambres à l'arrière donne sur un immense mur (il ne faut pas être claustrophobe!).
