I liked the trip, but is the girl a the lobby say to people that in the 1612’s room on 16th floor there’s a beautiful view of the Chateau Frontenac, it isn’t real, the castle is right behind the buildings 😅

It is not usual for us to mention that theres a view of the Chateau Frontenac as there are no views of the Chateau from our 18 floor building. We have very beautiful views but it doesnt reach the Upper moutain where the castle is. Very sorry about the confusion. Hôtel de grande classe, au style épuré et moderne. Le personnel est accueillant et professionnel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et silencieuses. J’ai dormi comme un loir ! Le stationnement se trouve aux sous-sols 1 et 2. Facile d’y entrer et d’en ressortir. Prix abordable également. Je recommande chaudement !

Staff were really friendly and property is quite nice and beds are 10/10 comfy and the city was quite walkable. We also got a free upgrade, which was a big bonus for us. But on the negative side, parking was quite expensive(27$) and quite small regarding the size of the hotel. Parking IS NOT reduced for guests and is quite limited during busy times unless you have a green stamp with a white ticket. When I came back around 1am, it still said full and when speaking to staff, they said you can still park even though it’s full which was quite confusing. Furthermore, breakfast was not included and was quite expensive if you went to their Table restaurant. If you went to the buffet type, it was around 20-30$ which was also quite expensive in my opinion.

Room that we first got was not made up properly- hair on the linen, crushed pillows, missing water bottle. So asked for another room instead. Was better but found out that there isnt any electric outlet near the beds. Only one available in the room is by the heater, making phone charges inconvenient. Also a bit far from the old town if you are looking to tour that area predominantly

The Pur is a very interesting artsy looking hotel. We loved the modern comfortable ambiance. The concierge was most helpful , lovely cafes, pubs & restaurants close by I don’t like to be negative but our room was quite hot during the night & we couldn’t get the air conditioner working. We also had an issue with the tub and water backup ( which was full of hair etc) Also we asked for a very early wake up call to get to the airport but it never came.
