“A great hotel.”
All around the hotel is very nice. I would recommend staying there.
“Great Location”
The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect. A brief walk from the train station, which is also the bus stop. Next door is a small grocery store. A great crepe shop is also close as well as shops and bars. No need to rent a car at all. The tour company picks u up right in front of the hotel. There was no real view from the 1st floor. Old decorations, but super clean. The restaurant was busy, but we ate out. The spa looked nice, but didn't try it. We would go back.
“Location! Location!”
This older boutique hotel is conveniently located to a bus stop where you can get a bus that does the loop with stops at the major points of interest to tourists. It is also a great hotel for cruisers that are planning a pre or post cruise stay in Quebec City as it is less than a $10.00 cab ride to or from the port facilities. The food at the restaurants at the hotel are is very good but other dining facilities are locaed nearby . I found the hotel staff extremely pleasant and helpful in offering suggestions for getting around Quebec City and recommending other dining establishments.
“Paul Harvey”
Don't be afraid to use this hotel. Its clean, very convenient and staff very nice. There are more expensive places to stay in Quebec but if you are value conscious this is not a bad place to stay.
“great location, friendly staff, clean rooms!”
It was within walking distance from the train station, absolutely loved our stay there! great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, will stay there again if i go back.
“Quebec City short stay”
First time staying at the Hotel Manoir Victoria but a pleasant stay. In the heart of the Old City, it is beautiful and within a short walk from the conference site that I was attending. As I was only present at the hotel a few hours each evening before crashing...... can't speak of the food, but staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Yep would stay there again. One slight negative was that the heating/cooling system could only blow hot or cold, not just maintain a stable temperature, it was also a bit loud in the middle of the night.
“Charming European-style hotel in Old Quebec”
If you want to stay "inside the walls" of the Old CIty, there are a couple five-star hotels and there are a number of smaller, old hotels in converted homes. Hotel Manoir Victoria is a good compromise: It's a real hotel with a pool, spa, valet parking and a pretty lobby, but has a smaller, intimate feeling and it's not wildly overpriced. It's a good choice for a vacationer willing to pay for luxury, charm and location but who doesn't need five-star amenities.
“Lovely hotel - very helpful staff”
The staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and the rooms were lovely. Great amenities and close to everything. We had a car with us and the valet service was excellent.
“Great hotel in central location”
This hotel is very conveniently located in the walled old town of Quebec. It is a short walk to several good bistros on the main drag, and walking distance to many tourist attractions such as the boardwalk overlooking lower town and the St. Lawrence River. The hotel is quiet and comfortable and service was excellent.
“Quebec City”
My friend and myself were very impressed with the hotel as well as staff. The hotel is very convenient to everything. We walked the city for a full week, did not need transportation. If you have problems walking you are best to take bus tours. I had never stayed in Quebec for any length of time but would do it again. We had no complaints about anything.
