Arrived very late but staff was friendly, parking at back door for $20.00 which was a bargain for no parking anywhere. McDonalds was two doors down for quick breakfast and St Hubert's was a great mid scale lunch in same block. Had to leave our car overly long due to a tour and staff was fine with any concerns. Room was on first floor and very European flair to looking out the windows at street traffic, still not noisy and no feeling of being unsafe despite an apparent night life nearby.
The staff was phenomenal. The bellman was waiting outside in the parking lot and in the rain for guests. He opened all doors for us and moved our luggage accordingly. Front desk was equally friendly with dinner, attraction, and transit recommendations.
If that wasn't enough, the room was fantastic. Had our own kitchenette (with stocked cutlery and plates/cups/etc), and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in throughout my hotel stays. I could have spent my entire vacation on that bed!
"The Pub" in the lobby had a minimal food menu but had a well stocked bar. Parking was a breeze, and the on-site restaurant was pricey but had great quality food.
The hotel is located right in lower-town Quebec at the harbour. A 2 minute walk to the Farmers Market, and a 5 minute walk to upper town. Could not ask for a better location!
Stayed two nights after ending a cruise in Quebec City. Hotel staff very accommodating in allowing us to store our luggage from the time we got off the ship, they assisted us on selecting a guided tour of the area, calling the tour company which picked us up at the door of the hotel. Upon checking in we found a very clean, apparently newly renovated, good sized room with an excellent quality bed, small table and couch. The staff was very helpful with providing maps and suggestions. The location is excellent, very close to all the old town points of interest.
The personnel was very cordial. The pool room in the green house with the trees and everything, this was very nice. We enjoy very much having diner at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was extraordinary. It was only for one night and it made us wich to stay longer.
This is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location. It is located in the museum district and is within walking distance to most of the city attractions and fine restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
