Perfect location. It’s an old building with old rooms but you’re walking distance from most of Pau

The room was clean but dated..Toilet lid wouldnt say up due to system not screwed to the wall..windows wouldnt close..Bed side table needed fixing...And other small things that soon add up..Main gripe is the noise of other residents after midnight into the small hours that wasnt addressed by the staff..

Great view of the square, nicely updated room but the bathroom could use a refresh to match. Friendly and helpful staff in a great location. Parking can be tricky but overall a really good value and I would stay here again.

The location, the square in the centre of Pau is excellent. The hotel is clean and quite adequate if not outstanding, breakfast is simple but adequate. The thermostat in the room was not working, it could have been warmer but I didn't spend much time there.

Very nice hotel conveniently located
The hotel is very conveniently located in the main square, 10 minutes walk from the train station, there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. They serve really good French breakfast there.

The hotel is located iverlooking central square and close to all major shops.chrap underground parking 100 metres away . Good breakfast of bread meat jam and cereal with self serve coffee for 7.90.

Fine for a short stay
Very short business trip. This hotel was centrally located. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. lots of restaurants, shops, etc. and the very from the room was nice. It is an old building that is a bit worn are the seams, but otherwise just fine.

Nice hotel in the centre of Pau, perfect location
Breakfast good, room very clean and comfortable bed some noise fif your room is looking to the square but not a problem. Take ear plugs with you.

Great base to explore the centre of Pau
Very well positioned hotel for exploring Pau on foot and also very close to an underground car park. A little tricky to navigate to on the first visit but very convenient for sites and restaurants. Room wasn't huge but it is the kind of hotel you use for a base and don't otherwise spend time in it. The Le Bourbon was clean and the staff, as far as we needed to deal with them, were friendly and effiicint.

This hotel is ideally situated on the edge of an attractive square within easy reach of shops and a whole range of restaurants. It would be particularly attractive to visitors on foot, being near both the rail and bus stations.

Central Location for sightseeing
We went to Pau for the Historique Grand Prix racing weekend and as we had flown we wanted a hotel which was central. It was in walking distance from the shops, cafes and restaurants and also not far from where the event was held. We had a room overlooking the square and although the windows weren't double glazed we didn't experience much noise. The room was clean and comfortable, the furnishings were functional and tasteful and the bathroom fittings were adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. We would definitely stay there again as it was good value and a good location.

Great Value Hotel
Our room on the third floor was recently refurbished and very much better than we would have expected for a 2 star hotel. Lift access was a bonus. The location is very central to the squares, old town, Boulevard des Pyrenees, the Castle and to many restaurants. The continental breakfast was very adequate but there are many cafes nearby where a more interesting breakfast could probably be had for the same money. The manager was very courteous and hard working and very helpful on reception, as a porter and as concierge. Would recommend others staying there. Car parking rates in the public car park were also very reasonable for overnight parking.
