Hotel Murano is a visual feast for the eyes, from the modern Italian lobby to the glass art displayed on most floors. Colors are tasteful, artwork is sublime, with glass artists represented from many countries. Rooms are classy and minimalist, with great views of the city. The bonus for culture tourists is the walking proximity to the Art Museum, Historical Museum, Chihulys Gallery, and a modern trolley trainsporting riders to downtown for free. We especially enjoyed the food in The Bite on the fourth floor, and enjoyed happy hours there three nights in a row. Restaurant and lobby staff were very concerned in making a memorable experience for us, which it certainly was.
Toni made everything warm and wonderful from greeting us with tea upon our late arrival to serving up terrific but healthy breakfasts. She provided us with great local touring tips such as the stunning 5 mile drive. But what made this stay stand apart is the splendid architecture and decor--don't miss it!
The television (and remote) is probably one of best set ups I've seen in any hotel, 5-star to 3-stars. You would have to see it and touch it to understand. It was a simple room but thoughtfully set up, from the magnets on the shower curtain to the amenities. I can understand issuing the damage deposit being right next to the T-Dome and expecting the scary onslaught of high school teams during their drive to their championship games. But on a quiet weekend, this place is close to perfect.
My experience this time was probably THE BEST.. I arrived later than I normally do which for me is super late. They have taken time to read all my reviews and made sure to respond to my tiny complaints.. WOW!!! Kristin at the front desk had me checked in within maybe 2 minutes and put me in a quiet room.. How does that get any better. Room was great as always. All smiles from front desk. Love Kristin

We found our room to be very clean, the bathroom was exceptionally clean, which is the 1st thing I check out thoroughly. The bed was comfortable and they're very generous in leaving lots of pillows on the bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the noisy heat/ac unit which did disturb me up a couple times during the night.
we have stayed a few times not a high end hotel but it works, staff very friendly and accomidating, about 20 minutes to downtown seatle if traffic isn't to bad 5 minutes from great waterpark with amusement rides
