So let me start off by saying that we had a fabulous trip! It was perfect and breath-taking! I booked a week long getaway for my boyfriend and myself in a Garden View Bungalow. After booking and reading reviews, I was skeptical about the trip but went for it away. Luckily, the flight, customs, and shuttle to the resort were completely easy and stress free. When arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly staff and helped right out. Our rooms were not ready yet but we got our bracelets and were able to eat and drink while we waited. The rooms were ready right at 3. The bungalow was so cute and cozy. I highly recommend staying in one, its a different kind of feel for vacation! :)
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Everyone does speak Spanish but understands enough English to help you out and carry on a conversation. There was one bartender, Christina, who was a complete angel!
Many reviews were complaining about the food but in all honesty it wasn't that bad. there was always something new to try and if all else fails there is a burger stand and an all night pizzeria!
Right outside of the resort gates is a little town, plenty of shopping, salons, restaurants, and bars. The people were a little pushy but that is to be expected! There are plenty of shops right on the resort. All in all, the beaches were white and sandy, drinks were cold, water was clear, and the sun was hot! What else could you want? I will recommend this to others and would go back!!
