This Punta Cana resort, situated on the white sands of Arena Gorda's 26 km (16 mi) beach, is surrounded by 3 hectares (7.5 acres) of palm groves. The resort has an outdoor pool and spa tub, a fitness facility, 4 tennis courts, and various water-sports equipment. Lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, and towels are provided in the pool and beach areas, where waiter service is also available. In addition to dining at 7 restaurants and drinks at 4 bars, guests can order room service 24 hours a day. Onsite spa services include massages, body treatments, and beauty treatments. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in the lobby area.

Guests have exchange privileges at nearby Riu Naioba and Riu Bambu sister resorts (theme dinner restaurants excluded). Guests also have access to the discotheque and casino on Caribbean Street, within the resort complex. Craft shops maintained by outside vendors also line the street.
