Check in is at 3pm and you would be lucky if you get checked in by 4pm. The staff give preferential treatment to Spanish speakers over English speakers. The staff try to block you from complaining about services to the manager. I was disappointed because they advertise the Royalton punta cana amenities but they aren’t the same for those at the royalton splash. I was very disappointed in my stay.

Employees are very nice. The food was the best I had tried in an all inclusive. If you ask for a Strawberry frappe, this are really made with the fruit. Awesome!!. The water park was super for kids and adults. The night shows can improved. But overall it is very good.

The hotel is not what it was 9 years ago, ironically. Currently, it is worse than it was a few years ago. The food is terrible, and the staff in most of the consumption areas are arrogant. We spent our first nights feeling hot because the air conditioning was not working properly. The room was smelly and awful. I had to vacate the room and wait until 3:00 p.m. to be given another one. We were out of the room since morning, despite having paid. The smart lock ran out of battery, and we had to wait for about an hour for it to be resolved. In the end, we ended up climbing through the balcony to open the room where all our belongings were. Most of the staff doesn’t know the hotel’s basic directions. It was a disaster.

I didnt find the property as clean as the other Royalton locations. Ive stayed at a both the other royalton resorts in punta cana, as well as in mexico. I found it very disappointing as i was staying with my small children. I also noticed a huge language barrier at this resort, and the staff who did understand were not friendly. Which was a shock for myself and my family since we've always had a great experience. Lastly, although I wish there were more food options, the fresh steak, salmon and shrimp at the buffet were incredible.

Friendly staff. Lots of options for food. The buffet had something for everyone. Beach access was easy. Train transportation to the other resort went by frequently so you didn’t wait long. The walk was short and peaceful if you wanted that option.

We had a great stay but it would have been much better if the employees spoke english. We prefer to choose the place where we can communicate effectively. I would recomend that staff at the lobby advises guests about people posing as resort employees on the beach offering adventures. Those are not safe. We also understand that tips are expected but this time they were requested by people designating chairs in the beach. The place is nice. Pools are great. Overall cosy.

Good cuisine, but unfortunately some of the dishes simply cannot be prepared, restaurants and buffets have a good selection of dishes, but it’s very hot, good rooms, but pillows for torture, the air conditioning in the room periodically turns off, sun loungers are always occupied, this is a small business for those who serve the beaches .....

The a la carte restaurants were nowhere near as good as the buffet. The buffet was outstanding for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always something different. If you don't get diamond club, they don't let you make reservations for the a la carte restaurants and everyone waits outside for over an hour. Otherwise everything was amazing.

We loved this resort. The kids had a blast at the water park, the pool activities were a hit and the beach incredible. Lots of food options, never had an issue getting into the Ala cartes, though my son threw up in the middle of the night after eating the fish at the Mexican restaurant. It did not taste great. But other restaurants were great.

Had a great experience staying at Royalton Splash. We booked Diamond Club and enjoyed being able to access everything at Royalton Punta Cana too. Kids loved the waterpark and also the beach. Our butler Ana was great and helped with all reservations. We would return.

The service was average- room service always got our orders wrong, took extremely long, and our hot water in our shower didnt work for the first two days Also our son was not allowed on any of the water park rides, even though he was as big as other kids being let on. The main two attractions in the waterpark werent working anyways. The buffets were great, the resort is beautiful, and the entertainment was awesome.
