So many pools to choose from...lots of things to do without leaving the resort. So much better than mexico!

This hotel is beautiful, very clean, food was great!! The employees they were wonderful!! Planning to go back with family and friends next year!! Great experience, will recommend to others!! Just love it!!

Absolutely beautifully maintained grounds. Delicious food. Lots of activities to choose from. Great beach and appreciated the fact that it was not crowded and was never harassed by sellers on the beach. Nightly entertainment was very fun as well. There's something for everyone here to enjoy and I will definitely be going back there again.

Family get away

Pros: The rooms, the restaurants, the spa, and the pools were fantastic.
Cons: I would like to see them acquire more golf carts, and more attention to detail with regards to the service.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIP's! They did all they could to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. We enjoyed the various restaurants, plentiful pools, and white sand beaches. We chose to join the Legendary Club and there was a mixup in the room upgrade and services. Overall we had a good time and will return. It is a large complex however once you learn the lay of the land you can cut your travel time or just rent a golf cart if you do not want to wait for the trams. They seem to come around about every 5 mins.

Excellent vacation

We returned to the hard rock for the 4th time in last 4 years. Definitely our favorite place to go Awesome beach, great waves, a ton of pools. Workers are unbelievably friendly and go out of their way to help u with anything. Def will be going back again next year. Can't wait

Great family getaway

Pros: Great pools and beaches -
Cons: Resort credits are not available for many things. Also when you do use resort credits, the cost ends up being close to the retail prices.
Location: Punta Cana is a great location - superb weather.
We had a great time with some friends. Our boys are graduating high school so we went together. There are many restaurants so you can experience different food nightly. Entertainment was so-so. Not cruise like. My 13 year old had challenges finding activities that were age appropriate.

Great resort. Could be Fantastic with some changes

The property is far nicer than anything else in Punta Cana but with some minor improvements it could be Fantastic instead of just Really Good. The food really needs to be improved. Especially at the sit-down restaurants. The Mexican restaurant served Taco Bell quality food in a 5 star setting but that wasn't nearly as bad as the Sushi restaurant. It was by far the worst sushi I have ever had. Even something as simple as sushi rice was as sweet as rice pudding and as heavy as cement. The buffet restaurant was however pretty good except for the required paperwork. The buffet was guarded by a slightly snobby hostess that needed to fill out a form and a card for each guest. They also made you wait even when there were plenty of tables available. It was an annoyance to be sure. The Casino was advertised as Vegas style but falls short. There are no ATMs in the casino. You have to take a cash advance using a credit card at the cage at an additional 7% fee. There are two ATMs elsewhere in the resort but only one of them works, charges a high fee and only dispenses Pesos in small amounts which you have to convert to US dollars to play any of the games. It's also not a true 24 hour casino. The poker room and most of the table games open at 8:00 pm and close at 4:00 am. The best part of this resort are the rooms and the spectacular pools and gardens. Overall this is a nice resort and would be well worth the high price if they made some of the changes I talked about.
