“NY visits Punta Cana”
Very good facility and great friendly staff
“Perfect Place for a Honeymoon!”
We went to just relax, and that's exactly what that hotel wants. There's a few pools, a nightly show, many many yummy restaurants (with Jose aka Pepe being the best waiter there @ the Higuero) and quite a few places to get drinks. The hotel room was comfy and spacious with a nicely stocked mini fridge full of water, coke, and sprite. Not much to do out of the hotel, but plenty to do in it and that's enough! A+ definitely.
“LOVED IT>> I'll go back anytime”
The price, the place, the people, the service, the food, the drinks (unlimited).. EXCELLENT. I like to go to different places and stay in hotels, or home rentals, I have stayed in 5 start hotels, but Caribe Hotel really impressed me. All Inclusive worked for me and my family
“I will not go back”
This place is terrible. The only good thing that I can say is that the people who work there is very nice and try to make your stay less traumatic. Lets start by the door keys that never work and people need to go back and forward to the front desk all the time. Second, the condition of the buildings and bathrooms are not in good shape; the air condition it s set very high and can not be change. The food is the same every day at he buffet.
“Unbelievably impressed!!!”
Everything about this vacation was great. Everyday was fun filled and the atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely a must go to place!!!
“Great Vacation except...”
This was my first time at Caribe Club Princess Hotel. The hotel itself was really nice and the staff was always willing to assist. We had a speedy check in and our rooms were cleaned every single day - even when I forgot to put out the "Please Clean Room" card on the door knob (thanks to Carolina). Hotel rooms needs a bit of updating but everything was cleaned and maintained. Only complaint was the critters that made there way into the room at night - guess they crawled in from under the door. The food at the buffet was great and there was a variety of selection every night. The night entertainment was basic (singing, dancing, game night). Easy to get around the hotel grounds (buses would pick up the guests and drop them off at certain locations). The pool was packed - had to get there early to reserve a good seat under the cabana. The beach was really nice - except early in the morning when they crew was out there cleaning the seaweed off the beach. Not sure if I would return as there seems to be a selection of hotels to chose from near this vicinity.
“Very nice location. I would go back”
Punta Cana is a beautiful city. I had no preconceived biases about it besides they love their baseball. The resort itself is one of the more beautiful in that area. It has a great setting and sits right on the beach. They have two open bars right on the beach for quick access and it really helps out when you have sand all over you. However, there are many people walking about trying to get you to go to their hotel or try their activities. They are relentless and quite annoying after a few days (this will happen anywhere you go in DM). There is a good amount of sea flora around the beach. It's hard to fight through sometimes. Usually it disappears by mid day. Power is also an issue. If it rains the power will go out. The food was what I expected from a buffet type of setting. It was average at best (the Dominican food night is the best). You should reserve the restaurants as soon as you can. They are great! The buffet works if you have kids but definitely don't expect much. The staff was patient and diligent. They do lack speedy means to get around so don't expect extra towels very quick. I would recommend having someone with you who grasps the Spanish language. There are only a handful of people that can speak English well. Luckily I am fairly proficient. I saw many peoples' trips ruined because they were frustrated with the language barrier. Understand that 90% of the staff will not speak your language if it isn't Spanish. Overall, It was a great experience.
“Not impressed”
The hotel grounds were clean but I would reccomend to bring ur own bed sheets the quality of there bes sheets was very poor n the towels made me itch the staff was nice u must tip for good service the food was nasty la cava was good m nice staff inside who speak english if u no spanish even just a little it helps to speak it shols on site for gift is expensive take the walk.down.the beach about a mile they sell gifts for much cheaper go to the second guy the first one is a con artist n the hotel has a very small casino over all the stay was not that impressive I was ready to go home.after the 3day
“Fantastic place to stay!”
Hotel was beautiful and staff was friendly. Food in restaurants extremley good. Buffet was good also. Spent most of time around pool and didn't go into ocean at all. Pools were great. Spa was fantastic and drinks awesome and plentiful!! Would highley recommend this hotel. Look for Expedia booth in hotel to do your excursion bookings. There are several tables set up and we didn't realize Expedia had their own. Had a bit of problem booking with another person there and Expedia person helped fix the error. Though the one who made the error made every attempt to correct it and followed up a couple times on it. They all went out of their way to make our trip a wonderful time. Would definetly go back and have already recommended to others thinking about going there.
“Had a great time”
Hotel was as expected from reading other reviews. Ate at speciatty restaurants a couple of times and they were great. Buffet breakfast was good with many choices including an egg cooking station. Overall enjoyed the stay the weather etc.
