“would recommend to anyone”
the people in the resort are the nicest people there. food was great and they have four other restaurants that are on the premises that you are entitled as an all inclusive guest. swim up bar and pool really nice. the shows that are put on every night are really funny and nice. i would go back to enjoy more of the beach.
“A Pleasant stay”
We stayed for a week at Bavaro Princess and it was really relaxing and pleasant. The food was OK with the the exception of the restaurant "LICEY"(gourmet) and "El Pescador" (seafood) that were AWESOME. We stayed at the Platinum Club, so everything was over the standards. I would recommend, however, a little update to the resort. The staff, while being nice and friendly could be taught more sense of service, to go the extra mile for the guests satisfaction, and they need to do something with the little "train" that transport the guests around this huge resort (it takes too much time in between with the consequential crowdedness of people) The beach is fine. The activities staff is ALWAYS working! They are amazing.
“Can't wait to go back!”
It's a nice place to go!
“Platinum goes a long way !!”
Can't say enought good things about this hotel. Check in quick and easy. Food was excellent, we eat at every restuarant. We had cocktails at every bar. Beach is AWESOME, this our sixth time in D.R. and all on Bavaro Beach (3 Different Hotels). Hotel staff handled all of our wants & needs. We will be going back next year for sure !!

“Wedding”
This resort is Nice, very pretty, but the services is horrible. I paid extra for the spa package but received none of the benefits because you have to be there for a week to receive them, no where was that stated. We were there for a wedding and we were 13 people, getting dinner reservations was impossible. All they kept saying was they couldn't accomadate us, even when I was the 5th person in line when the reservations opened. Even though tips are included, everyone is looking for something and service gets much better with tips. The drinks were good, the foood was resort food, not great, not bad. Our room smelled very moldy and musty and that never went away, we had to wash all of our clothes even stuff we didn't wear when we got back because it smelled so bad. Overall nice vacation, but I was really unhappy with the service.
“If you are looking for stress free relaxation, STAY AWAY!”
The hotel was very nice, although our room was a little outdated. The food was excellent. I don't think I would stay here again for two reasons though. First, the only restaurant that was really available to eat in was the main buffet. All of the other restaurants required reservations, for which you had to go and stand in line at 8:30 in the morning, every morning along with 50 other people, only to find out there were none available, or you had to eat a 10 pm. UNLESS of course you are a platinum member, then you didn't need to go through all that. Second reason I would not stay again is because adults really enjoy hanging out at the swim up bar at the pool right? Well forget about it here. Children rule this bar. I tried to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink. I had children crawling on my back, splashing pool water in my drink, and taking up the bartenders time with ordering non alcoholic beverages, not to mention taking up most of the seating. At one point there were children standing ON the bar jumping in the pool. It was completely out of control and none of the staff or parents did anything about it. I have a child, it's not like I don't like children, but if our child was with us, that would have been unacceptable. The beaches are beautful and the staff are excellent, but if you are looking for stress free, don't expect it here.
“Had fun but wont go back”
We had an average-good stay here- maint issues on check in & lobby was 20+ min walk away. Bed missing a leg, AC not working, no phone, water leaking into shower from upstairs toilet overflowing. Language issue made getting issues resolved very difficult- never did get a phone working all week. Daily maid service unreliable, floor was swept only once all week. Wait service was great, but better with tips ($1+ here & there spoke volumes). Food & choices were great. A nice 3-4 star resort, but NO WAY a 5 star. Look for Ricardo at the pool buffet & seafood rest- great personality! 3 rd night the hotel asked us to fill out a review and we listed out grievances- and the next afternoon we were contacted by Guest Services- so they did read them & react but felt we got the "yes we will work on that" and then the same issue (like our non phone) never was fixed or referred to again.
“Good food, nice resort but needs updating!”
This resort was nice, the food was delicious (even at the main buffet), but the rooms, service and the hotel itself needs some updating. This resort is huge, so be ready for a lot of walking (to get from a main lobby to the beach it's about 10 min walk). The rooms are very private but they need some updating. The beds are very old and uncomfortable. The pillows are hard as bricks. The maids are not very well trained. We were at the resort for 7 night, they changed our towels only 3x, the other 4 night they didn't leave fresh towels at all. They did not restock the fridge and did a half asked job on everything else. If you want to take advantage of the sit down dinners make sure you are at the lobby at 8 am to sign up for one. The restaurants fill up very quickly. The same thing with the chairs at the beach, be on the beach at 8 am to reserve your spot with a towel or you will be laying on the sand for the rest of the day! This resort is nice but needs some serious improvements. The food though makes up for all the negatives. The Seafood Restaurant is a must. Delicious!!!! Overall, it's a fun resort!!!!
