Great resort for everyone! Enormous property, golf courses, activities of all kinds, and a beautiful private beach that was safe and shallow enough for our small children to swim. The golf cart is a MUST to get around. It was a perfect vacation but I will admit, it was expensive and the taxes were high, but we loved it!!!
Great accommodations for the reasonable price paid. Great entertainment and facilities just a few steps from the beach. The food is not "5 stars", yet it was great, like a home-cooked meal. The hotel is very secure, with friendly guards keeping you safe. The rooms were spacious and charming. The only negative was the fact that the AC system did not cool things down as much as we thought it would.

Excellent resort, right on the beach. Swimming pools are very large and well designed. Seven restaurants provide plenty of choices, including the favorite of many leisurely travelers: buffet is available 3 times a day. The stuff is universally friendly and helpful. One of us is an avid tennis player, and she found the courts in excellent condition, well lit at night, and the tennis pro very competent. Our big concern was Internet: according to many reviews, only wired Internet is available. Not true: free wi-fi is in all rooms and common areas, including pools.
Went down for 4 nights, three days in mid December and stayed in a jr beach facing suite in the colonial club. Highly recommend both due to no kids around and not having the sound coming into our room from the pool. Overall we had a great experience, everyone was friendly and neither of us had any type of food problems and were actually presently surprised by how good the food was. Only thing that lacked was that our room was not cleaned the first day, but that is most likely because we forgot to put the service needed sign on on the door.
Check out was painless and they wisked us straight to our room with champagne in hand in no time. Having a room butler was nice, but we never really used him for anything so I cant commend on that part of the experience. Overall unless you get down there and your room is not available or your reservation is messed up it would be really hard to have a bad time.
