Nice hotel. Quality similar to that of a typical Westin or Marriot. Very comfortable bed, towels, big shower and jacuzzi tub, large room. Complementary breakfast was great as well.

Wonderful stay!
Room was great. Very modern and clean. Location was great. Amazing restaurant across the street. Only negative was that entering casino required you getting a ticket first. Not terribly inconvenient, but not what I am accustomed to. Would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel only booked us in for 2 nights rather than the three we had booked. It was sorted out quite quickly. There was a lack of written information for English speaking guests concerning hotel services. Early breakfast was very disappointing. A few slices of stale bread, cheese and ham and a couple of cakes

Hotel for penguin trip
Hotel was great! Emailed in advance to arrange airport pick-up, only 10,000 pesos. Location, fantastic. Lobby nice; casino did not spoil it. Room great; my room had fantastic sea view. Breakfast buffet, very good. Staff, very helpful. Only downsides, hot water was not that hot and no late check out (not even 1/2 hour). Penguins still highlight of trip!

Very poor staff - misguided us with Travel info
Karem The staff seems to be lined up with only one Travel agency and made arrangement to meet him. She insisted that we only go with him and he overcharged us and then next day we found over 10 travel agencies in the town and very accommodating. Front Desk - The breakfast timings only started at 7 am and we were not able to get any hot breakfast any day as we had to leave early all 3 days.

Beautiful hotel facing the legendary Straits
Elegant new building, with helpful and friendly staff, in a very convenient location. The experience was marred by the inability to adjust the sweltering room temperature.

This hotel is very conveniently located. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are extremely comfortable with nice views. Definitely a solid choice if you are passing through Punta Arenas.

One night stay after a cruise
One night stay after a cruise. The hotel lobby and rooms were very nicely decorated (perhaps recently updated?). The room was large, a great view of the waterfront, roomy shower and bathtub. Great location next to a street with many dining options, 2 blocks away from the cruise pier, close to the downtown square and right along the waterfront walking and biking paths. The exercise and pool facilities were excellent but when I went for a morning workout it was closed, even though I had confirmed with the staff the previous night that it would be open at 6:30. Breakfast was open at 7:00 but much of the hot food was not placed out until 7:45.

A very nice hotel located at a great location along the waters edge. Always ask for a room on the water side as the views from the hotel over looking the sea are awesome.

Best hotel in Punta Arenas by international standart. One negative aspect is that all rooms facing the town also face the sun. Because of no A/C in the hotel, afternoons feel like an oven in all city view rooms. Their solution is to provide you with a fan or change you to any seaside rooms which felt much cooler inside.

Best hotel in town
Sitting right on the Straights of Magellan in Punta Arenas, the location is tremendous. Punta Arenas is a charming old town, and this hotel is a welcome modern contrast with the amenities you'd expect from a high end hotel. The included breakfast is first rate and the rooms are large and comfortable. The sky bar on top has great views. The center of town is within walking distance, but considering the wind and weather you might just grab an affordable cab.

Great hotel if they just had air conditioning!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The front desk staff was great and the location was perfect. Certainly the best choice in town!! But, their a/c didn't work which made it a little uncomfortable, although they gave us a fan and we could leave our window open for awhile (the noise was too much for sleeping). Other than that, it was a high quality hotel and we were always happy to come back to the hotel after an outing.

Not my first choice.
The water in the pool was rather cold. The steam room was dirty. The room was facing the city and was hot during the day. There was no air conditioning, so they brought us a fan. The hotel iseems to be overpriced.

I would have been a great place, however. . .
The location was perfect and the lobby lovely. In fact, the room was lovely. But it smelled of sewer gas! The window opened a bit, but not enough to flush out the smell. There was no air conditioning or fan and it was exceptionally hot. I realize that generally AC is not needed there except in the rare heat extreme that had been going on prior to our stay. The wifi was nonexistent in the room. When I called the front desk to ask for another room I was told there were none available and that wifi didn't work on that floor. This was disappointing because I booked that hotel especially for wifi as we had been traveling and needed to send work back to the states. I walked a couple of doors down and got full strength wifi so I ended up sitting in the hall that night doing work. Also, I learned from the front desk person the next day that there had been vacant rooms. This was all very disappointing after traveling so far. On the positive side, the bell hop was most helpful and found us a small fan. The breakfast was excellent. Had the room not smelled and were we permitted to move to a room less odoriferous and with even a slight wifi connection, I would have given it more stars.

This is the best hotel in Punta Arenas. Really glad that we stayed here. Staff was excellent. Does not know the word "No." Great location, clean, modern hotel with a superb view. Only bad part was that you are forced to wear a swimming cap in the pool.

We stayed at this hotel earlier in our trip and it was very comfortable and quiet; on March 1st, we were on an upper floor facing the water; disco music was playing loudly and we had our windows open since A/C not working. Slept very poorly as a result,

Modern, high end at the bottom of the world
Rooms are very comfortable with nice bath amenities. Excellent pool and gym with amazing views of the straits of Magellan. Service in restaurant was poor, and it is better to eat outin many of the places that are within walking distance.

HOTEL DREAMS DEL ESTRECHO - OUTSTANDING!
What a great surprise! This is a fantastic hotel in the most remote place imaginable. The hotel staff was very friendly and extraordinarily helpful to me and my kids. The room was magnificent! We were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful,and the bathroom shower was spectacular. The restaurant was great. After a very cold horseback ride on the Strait of Magellan, the warm indoor pool was a real treat. A great hotel!
