“Best Resort in Vallarta ( and I have been to 8 of them)”

You simply will not find a better hotel in Puerto Vallarta than the Marival World Residence. There are two Marivals so make sure not to confuse them. The Marival Hotel is older and much busier (but still nice) and is probably 3.5 stars. The Marival World which is about 3 minutes driving from the older Marival is 5 star all the way. Unlike other all-inclusive resorts, this one is also all-inclusive with excursions outside the resort. The following can be done for free: 1) golf (although you have to pay for a golf cart which is $50) at three courses 2) sea lion adventure 3) dolphin adventure 4) full day boat cruise - with snorkling 5) evening cruise 6) zip lining 7) day tour of old Vallarta Each of the above can be done as many times as you want and it is all included. The rooms: They are stunning. Each room is a full suite including laundry (bring soap from home), two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and large balcony. Because the other Marival is close by, they have shuttles every 10 minutes that take you to the other Marival where they have activities for kids, excellent beach access, a night club and kids club. I was there with my wife, my 9 year old son and my 5 year old daughter. We had a blast and I would highly recommend this hotel.

“An amazing vacation”

I read the reviews about how amazing this hotel was but experiencing it on my own was a different story. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and was very impressed by the size, decor, cleanliness, and convenience. The only set back was the beds were a little hard. I requested a mattress topper and it made a world of difference. The balcony was huge with an incredible view. The service and attention from the staff was top notch. The food was top 3 of any resort we've ever stayed at...I mean Gourmet all the way! Having the excursions included was an extra perk to really set this place aside from the rest. My family and I would like to show special appreciation to Ricardo at the pool. He made sure our drinks were worth drinking and our cups never went empty. He knew exactly what we wanted before we could reach our pool chairs. Thanks Marival Residences for making our family trip so incredible!!! We are definitely coming back and we will try out the Penthouse next trip!

From the moment you arrive you are surrounded with luxury and first class amenities. The concierges are extremely helpful and even booked our tours and tee times in advance. When you arrive you get the feeling, that you have arrived. They say that there are those who travel and those who travel well. You guessed it, at Marival Residences World & Spa traveling is very well. This is not the loud party atmosphere type of resort, but more of a relaxing, reconnecting and soothing resort. Everything is first class and it is evident from the staff and management that they try to exceed your expectations. During our stay we were greeted by the Vice President of the resort, along with the Public Relations Manager. Both listened to our concerns and seemed to appreciate our business and compliments. You are not just a guest here you are family and treated like such. It's easy to see why this is a 5 star resort with world class amenities, service, design and comfort.

“Wonderful honeymoon”

The Marival Residences exceeded all of our expectations! We stayed for 1 week in a penthouse with private plunge pool and we were sad to leave. I cannot say enough about how attentive, pleasant and accommodating the staff was. From the moment we arrived everyone we met was simply wonderful and extremely professional. The restaurant staff at Omaggio deserve special mention as they go above and beyond to accommodate special requests and seem really happy to be of service. The food was consistently of good quality and the hotel itself is beautifully maintained. If you stay at the Marival Residences, you have privileges at the Marival Suites, but we found the food and ambiance to be more to our liking at the Residences and so we typically remained there. Unless you have small children (who will more appreciate the large hotel pool which is beautifully suited to little ones play), pay for the upgrade to the penthouse w/private pool. You feel like you are in your own little world. For those looking for a beach, this area of Nuevo Vallarta is disappointing. If you are thinking powder white sand and crystal clear waters, look elsewhere as the water here is murkier (but take into consideration that this is the rainy season and there will be sediment from the rivers higher in the mountains) and the sand is dark. If you are on the fence about booking here, go for it! We are very glad we did!

“My best trip yet to Puerto Vallarta”

I loved the entire experience - great food, great service, great room, great view.... I only have two small complaints: the bed was a bit stiff and the elevator was very warm (no air conditioner running). I just took the stairs instead.
