Simple and quaint

This was a cute hotel located in a great walking neighborhood. Many restaurants and the beach were close by. Also it is just 3 blocks from the bus stop that takes you into Old San Juan. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We also enjoyed spending time out on the lovely deck. The biggest drawback for us was the noise when people came in and out of their rooms; the doors were very loud when closing.

Great Place to Stay!

Posted 09-Apr-2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: more counter space
Location: Beach, restaurants, and shops all walking distance.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and had no issues. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful with questions about things to do and eat in the area. The room is on the smaller side but is perfect for 2 people. We only spent time in our room to shower and sleep, so for those reasons the room and bathroom were great. If I could change one thing it would be more counter space in the bathroom. The hotel is walking distance from the beach and local food. I felt safe in the area even at night. Parking can be tricky if you have a car. It's $15 to park in the lot and other surrounding lots charge by the hour but we found free street parking every night. I would definitely stay here again.

Adequate hotel that is in a walkable area

Posted 07-Apr-2015
Pros: Proximity and neighborhood
Cons: Perhaps update/repair furnishings and improve ambiance.
Location: Walgreens, CVS (for supplies), various restaurants, upscale and gift shopping, beaches, and hotel/resorts
Sufficient hotel close to beach, restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. Very safe area.

Small, simple, clean and convenient.

We found the motel with ease from the airport. The concierge on Monday 3/30 was terrific. He suggested best place to park (which turned out to be very close by and free!). He suggested a terrific restaurant and offered ideas for local points of interest. Breakfast was ample. Overall this motel was a little gem and so close to beach. A very good deal.

Nice hotel

Hotel is in walking distance from food and beach. So enjoyed our stay. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Only thing I didn't like was that there was no refrigerator in the room.

Cozy place within walking distance of everything.

We had a great stay at the casa condado. Two nights in Puerto Rico was fun. No elevator and we were on the top floor so that was a small hassle, and the water for the shower was cold cold cold. Great staff and a fun little breakfast.

Nice basic hotel 2 blocks from beach

Enjoyed our stay. Quiet, clean, and near Ashford ave stores (Cvs, Walgreens, restaurants). They provide the absolute minimum (towel, washcloth, toilet paper, ice, and continental breakfast). Friendly staff and they let you leave your bags in the lobby before check-in and even after you check-out.
